    摘要: The invention relates to a signal processing method which optimizes the bit error rate under pragmatic conditions. The signalling method is optimally matched to the radio channel, variable with time, in rapid sequence by means of linear operations. Uplink and downlink transmission sides are determined by an excess of antennae on the downlink transmission side. The estimations of the channel matrix in the one transmission direction, necessary for the matching of the transmitter, can, in the absence of common-channel distortions with the condition of channel reciprocity, be directly obtained from the estimations for the other transmission direction. By a suitable linear combination of the transmission signals and, optionally, also the received signals, an error-free bi-directional transmission of data streams can be achieved in Rayleigh and Rice channels with significantly lower transmission powers than in purely receiver-side linear signal processing.

    摘要: A method processes information to be sent via radio, according to which first bits represent a first number of N-tuples and second bits represent a second number of N-tuples. The first bits are to be sent using a first group of sub-bands of a frequency band, and the second bits are to be sent using a second group of sub-bands of the frequency band. A first modulation method is used for the first bits and a second modulation method is used for the second bits. The first bits are rearranged, forming M-tuples, and a symbol is formed from each M-tuple according to the first modulation method. The second bits are rearranged, forming P-tuples, and a symbol is formed from each P-tuple according to the second modulation method, and M≠P. A corresponding method is used for processing information received by radio. Base stations and mobile radio stations carry out the method.

    摘要: In a method and/or an OFDM device for SC-FDMA data transmission, a sequence of input data is transformed by means of a discrete transformation as transformed data signals of coded and modulated data signals on first frequency channels into a first frequency space over a first number of frequencies. The transformed data signals are mapped on second frequency channels in a second frequency space with a larger second number of frequencies. The transformed data signals on the second frequency channels are inverse-transformed using an inverse transformation. Data inversely transformed in such a way are provided for transmission. The transformed data signals are mapped into a frequency range of the second frequency channels in such a way that a constant component of the transformed data signals is mapped centrally within the frequency range.

    摘要: A radio transmission method and a wireless transmission system comprising multiple transmitter and receiver antennae simultaneously operating within the same frequency range and space-time encoders and decoders. Data transmission and channel matrix measurement can take place synchronously. Characteristic pilot signals that are unequivocally recognizable are superimposed with low noise on the data subsignals in the transmitter and are used in the receiver for the analog measurement of the channel matrix in a weighting unit and for the analog recovery of the transmitted data subsignals from the received signals. The measured analog values are digitally processed in a signal processor. The weightings thus determined are then summed in an analog signal processing unit.

    摘要: A bidirectional signal processing method uses parallel transmission of digital transmitted data streams in a multiple input-multiple output system. Related art methods generate high bit error rates mostly in singular transmission channels. For this reason, the rank-adaptive signal processing method provides that the number nd of active subchannels are varied according to the actual channel behavior in order to effect a robust data transmission even in singular radio channels based on a transmit-side and receive-side channel knowledge and a modification of the data vector by a linear matrix vector multiplication while introducing a factor gamma for limiting the maximum transmit power. The maximum transmit power is then only distributed to the currently activated subchannels so that no transmit power remains unused. Another optimization of the number of subchannels nd occurs when selecting the modulation and encoding methods. During the optimal rank-adaptation according to the water-filling principle, another power is allocated to each subchannel. Another modulation and encoding method is accordingly selected for each data stream. During the suboptimal rank-adaptation according to the channel inversion principle, all subchannels have the same power whereby enabling the data streams to be modulated and encoded in a common source
