摘要： An elevator apparatus includes guide devices having guide members engaged with a pair of guide rails so as to guide a car along the guide rails in a manner to hold the car in a proper position. Each of the guide devices includes a resilient support member having a small spring constant supporting the guide member in such a manner that the guide member is movable in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the guide rail. An axis of suspension of the car is deviated from a position of a center of gravity of the car so as to cause a guide load, acting on a side surface of the guide rail via the guide member in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the guide rail, to have a deflected load acting on the guide rail in one direction. The guide device further includes an anti-deflected load generating device for generating an anti-deflected load in a direction to reduce a deflected load component of the guide load produced by the above deviation. With this arrangement, a lateral vibration of the car, which would be caused by an inherent bending of the guide rail, or a bending of the guide rail due to an error in installation of the guide rail or aging, is prevented.

摘要： A multi-directional input device includes an operating shaft capable of rotating around a central axis thereof and tilting in multiple directions from the central axis; a rotating body rotating together with the operating shaft to sequentially connect or disconnect a slide contact and a fixed contact; and a plurality of horizontal push switches operable by tilting the operating shaft. The engaging surface between the operating shaft and the rotating body forms a curved surface having both arc element and noncircular element. The operating shaft and the rotating body are always in contact with each other in a large area. Thus, in both tilting and rotating operation, even an extended period of use causes less abrasion.

摘要： A rotary encoder having a slider provided with a plurality of movable contact points disposed along a circle of a certain radius at an angular interval six times as large as an output pitch of rectangular wave signal. The contact-point board is provided on the surface with a signal pattern and a common pattern. Signal pattern consists of three fixed contact points, each having two conductive layers of radial shape of the same width, disposed at an angular pitch which is three times as large as the output pitch of rectangular wave signal. These fixed contact points are disposed along sliding circle of the movable contact points, at an angular pitch which is smaller, or larger, than angular interval of movable contact points, or a multiple of it, by the output pitch of rectangular wave signal, or twice that. Common pattern is disposed insulated from the signal pattern. Overall size of the rotary encoder is small in the outer diameter, and the encoder generates three-phase rectangular wave signal.

摘要： An elevator apparatus provided with a guiding device for guiding a passenger cage without vibration with respect to the guide rails. Sensors are provided so that a pressure applied to the guiding device from the guide rails is maintained constant, and an actuator is driven by an output of the sensor. The sensor may be a pressure sensor and, as the output of the sensor increases, the distance between the guide rail and the passenger cage is controlled in a manner so as to be decreased. The guiding device immediately follows the bend of the guide rail and an unbalanced load of the passenger cage so that transversal vibration of the passenger cage is considerably reduced.
