摘要： A picture display system having two display devices and a base device for supplying picture signals to one of the display devices and capable of having bidirectional communication with the other display device is disclosed. The picture display system (1) is made up by a mobile display device (100), a base device (200) and a large format display device (300). The base device (200) sends picture signals to the display device (100) and to the large format display device (300). On a display image surface of the mobile display device (100), there is provided a touch panel for detecting the contact position contacted by a user for displaying a remote-control panel RP accepting an operating input from the user on the display image surface. An operating signal conforming to a display item of the remote-control panel RP, displayed at a contact position, detected by the touch panel, is generated and transmitted by wireless communication to the base device (200). This base device (200) selects the picture signals, supplied from the external inputting devices (400), as a supply source of picture signals, responsive to an operating signal, to transmit the so selected picture signals to the large format display device (300).

摘要： A rotation detecting device which issues a plurality of code signals by a simple configuration so as to detect the rotational angle position and the direction of rotation of a rotor according to the code signals. The rotation detecting device has a knob member which is rotatably attached to a part of an enclosure, a plurality of projections which are formed on the periphery of one end of the knob member, and two detection switches which selectively engage with the projections to turn ON/OFF and issue signals. These detection switches are disposed on a printed circuit board in such a manner that they turn ON/OFF at different timings as the knob member rotates. Thus, the rotational position and the direction of rotation of the knob member are detected by the combinations of the ON/OFF signals of the detection switches.

摘要： An input device includes: a base member including a hollow support body; and an operation body supported so as to at least freely rotate relative to the hollow support body. The operation body includes an operation knob formed in a cylindrical shape with a bottom and having a top surface portion and a plate-shaped capacitance type touch pad provided on a back side of the top surface portion for detecting approach or contact of a finger with respect to the top surface portion. A support body supporting the capacitance type touch pad is mounted on the base member and supports the capacitance type touch pad through an elastic body which elastically urges the capacitance type touch pad against the top surface portion of the operation knob.

摘要： There is provided a video display system in which when supplying a video signal from a base station (200) to a plurality of display units (transportable one 100 and large-screen one 300), an operation instruction generator generates a screen select instruction corresponding to the direction of the user's touch on a touch panel (121) provided on the display screen of the transportable display unit (100) that displays an image corresponding to a video signal supplied from the base station (200) and transmits the operation instruction from the transportable display unit (100) to the base station (200), and a controller included in the base station (200) controls the channel selecting operation of two turning means included in the base station (200) correspondingly to the supplied operation instruction. Stroking the surface of the touch panel (121) on the display screen of the transportable display unit (100), the user can transfer an image between the plurality of display units (100, 300). Thus, the user can intuitively select an operation of the video display system in a manner different from that using a button on the conventional remote controller.
