    摘要: A method of transmitting a data signal in a wireless communication system from a primary station to a secondary station, where the data signal includes a medium access control header (MAC-hs header) and a protocol data unit associated with the medium access control header. The medium access control header includes a set of fields (TSN, SEG, LI, LCid). The method includes determining a size allocated to at least one field of the set based at least in part on a length of the protocol data unit. For example, the size allocated to a segmentation indication field (SEG) determined for a first length of the protocol data unit is lower than the one determined for a second length of the protocol data unit, where the second length being higher than said first length, where the segmentation indication indicates in how many segments the protocol data unit is subdivided.
