摘要: In an apparatus for preventing theft of plural, such as two, outboard motors (12F, 12S) adapted to be mounted on a boat, each of the outboard motors having an engine (16F, 16S), an engine controller (24F, 24S), and an authenticator (26F, 26S) that acquires ID information (A, B) from an electronic key (30F, 30S) when the key is brought close thereto by an operator, and gives permission to the engine controller to start the engine when the acquired ID information corresponds with the authentication ID information, and communicates with the engine controller of other outboard motor to notify that the permission to start the engine was given, thereby enabling the operator to easily start the outboard motors installed on one boat and having their respective authenticators.

摘要: In an apparatus for preventing theft of equipment such as outboard motor having a prime mover (engine), a prime mover controller and an authenticator (26) that acquires ID information from an electronic key when the key is brought close thereto by an operator and gives a permission to the prime mover controller to start the prime mover when acquired ID information is determined to correspond with authentication ID information, the permission was given is stored, and the authenticator determines whether the information is stored each time when activated (S12), and gives the permission to the prime mover controller immediately when it is determined that it is stored (S32), thereby enabling to easily restart the prime mover without authentication operation.

摘要: In a system for preventing an equipment such as lawnmower from theft, there are equipped with an internal combustion engine that is mounted on the equipment and is equipped with a generator that generates electric operating power when the engine is operated, a recoil starter to be manipulatable by an operator to operate the engine, an electronic key that is adapted to be carried by the operator and stores authenticating data for identifying the operator who carries the electronic key; and an authenticator that is installed at the equipment and performs authentication check as to whether the electronic key is an authorized key using stored key-checking data, when the authenticating data is outputted from the electronic key. In the system, the authenticator performs the authentication check when the electric operating power is supplied from the generator, thereby enabling to be installed in battery-less equipment and ensure to prevent the equipment from theft.

摘要: An electronic control unit includes a printed wiring board (50), electronic components (51 to 53) mounted on the printed wiring board (50), and a synthetic resin coating (57) formed by injection molding to cover the printed wiring board (50) and the electronic component (51 to 53). The electronic components (51 to 53) are housed in a protective case (75) that can resist pressure and heat during the injection molding of the coating (57). Thus, in the electronic control unit, an electronic component is not damaged by formation of a coating by injection molding so that the electronic control unit can always function normally.
