摘要: A device including a developing roller having a magnet roller for transporting developer, and developing an electrostatic latent image, a regulating member regulating transportation amount of the developer transported to the electrostatic latent image with the development roller, and a reflux plate refluxing excess developer regulated by the regulating member away from the regulating member is constructed to comprise a rubbing member arranged to face the developing roller, at a second gap larger than a first gap defined by the developing roller and the regulating member, and rubbing developer transported to the first gap. The rubbing member carries out preliminary electrification on developer and then the regulating member carries out main electrification on the preliminarily electrified developer.

摘要: Flanges are pressed into opposite ends of a photoreceptor drum. A noncontact charging roller is arranged so as to face, but have no direct contact with, the photoreceptor drum. On both end portions of the noncontact charging roller, spacers are provided for maintaing a gap between the photoreceptor drum and the noncontact charging roller. The spacers are of tape form and wound around the noncontact charging roller. Winding positions of the spacers are distant by more than an effective projection length of each of the flanges from respective opposite ends of the charging roller.

摘要: Cloth is successively conveyed by a supply roller and a take up roller over a platen which opposes an ink jet head selectively jetting ink. The platen has an opening formed at a surface opposing to the ink jet head, and an air suction opening behind the opening of the platen is connected to an air suction unit through an air path. At the time of dyeing, fluff on the surface of the cloth opposing to the ink jet head is sucked and laid down on the surface of the cloth by air suction by the air suction unit, and ink is appropriately jetted to the surface of the cloth from the ink jet head. Therefore, ink jet is not hindered by the fluff on the surface of the cloth at the time of dyeing. Therefore, ink drops can reach the desired position on the surface of the cloth, and satisfactory dyeing without any distortion in patterns is performed.

摘要: A solidification analysis method of a cast that can predict a molten temperature drop history with fine precision is disclosed. The analysis is performed by considering different latent heat emitting patterns according to the differences of the cooling speeds. An analysis model having a plurality of elements is used. A cooling speed is calculated in each element by performing a calculation of heat transfer between the elements adjacent to each other. A temperature fluctuation range is revised in each element when a temperature fluctuates from emission of solidification latent heat based on the calculated cooling speed and a predetermined fraction solid-temperature curve of a molten alloy. A solidification analysis of the analysis model is performed by using the revised temperature fluctuation range.

摘要: The present removing system has a feature to remove a left-over toner that is accumulated on a brush that touches a left-over toner on a photoreceptor. More specifically, the present removing system is so arranged that an alternating voltage (superimposing voltage) on which a positive direct current voltage is superimposed is applied onto a conductive brush in accordance with a user's instruction. With this arrangement, even if a positively electrified left-over toner is accumulated on the conductive brush, it is possible to remove the positively electrified left-over toner accumulated on the conductive brush, because a voltage value (positive) applied on the conductive brush in a moment is large. Moreover, because a voltage of the conductive brush becomes negative in a moment, it is possible to remove a negatively electrified left-over toner attached on the conductive brush.

摘要: A method of fabricating a recording head is disclosed in which a needle-type control electrode is formed integrally with the substrate. The method includes steps of forming on a substrate a first member layer having a pattern such that the substrate is partially exposed. Forming a second member layer spanning a portion of the exposed substrate and a portion of the first member layer. Then, a needle-type member is formed from the second member layer. Finally, the basic portion of the recording head is completed just by joining the substrate and an overhead plate. Thus, there is no need to join the needle-like control electrode with the substrate. There is no need to position members having critical dimensions with each other.
