摘要： There is provided a chain tension applying device for a bicycle that can accommodate a change in an axial distance between a frame and a sprocket. A chain tensioner 40 is a device for applying tension to a chain 26, including: a bracket 56; a tension member 58; a securing position adjustment mechanism 60; and an urging member 62. The bracket is mountable to a frame (a mounting lug 24b) of the bicycle. The tension member is secured to the bracket immovably in a first direction and movably in a second direction different from the first direction, and can apply tension to the chain. The securing position adjustment mechanism can adjust a securing position of the tension member to the bracket in the first direction by sliding. The urging member urges the tension member in the second direction.

The ball pushing unit is provided with an inside member and an outside member. The inside member has a fitting part configured to be fitted onto the hub axle with a sleeve insertion recess disposed on its internal circumferential portion and an externally threaded or splined section disposed on its external circumferential portion. The outside member has a ball pushing surface on its external circumferential portion and an internally threaded or splined section configured to non-rotatably connect to the externally threaded section.

摘要： A bicycle hub fastening structure employs an easy-to-connect connecting structure to improve the ease and efficiency with which an internally geared bicycle hub is fastened to a bicycle frame. The fastening structure has a nut member, a rotation prevention member and a connecting part. The nut member has a first contact surface and a threaded bore. The rotation prevention member has a cylindrical main body with a second contact surface contacting the first contact surface, a first (frame) restricting part configured to restrict rotation relative to a bicycle frame, and a second (hub axle) restricting part configured to restrict rotation relative to the hub axle. The connecting part has a retaining member attached to the nut member and serves to connect the nut member and the rotation prevention member together in a freely rotatable manner.
