摘要: A film easily soluble in cold water includes a water-soluble copolymer composed of 2 to 40 mol % of an allyl ester moiety, 97.5 to 50 mol % of a vinyl ester moiety and 0.5 to 10 mol % of at least one member selected from the group consisting of unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and anhydrides thereof, and the copolymer has a degree of saponification of not less than 65 mol %. The film is easily soluble in cold water and such solubility in cold water is not lowered even if the film comes into contact with either alkaline or acidic materials and it can suitably used as wrapping material for packages which are directly thrown into water together with packed materials. The copolymer may be used of such an allyl ester, vinyl ester and further one of unsaturated carboxylic acids.

摘要: A thermal printing head for printing alphanumeric characters on a thermally-responsive medium, the head being faced with a pattern of heat generating "dot" elements electrically insulated from one another and having conductive leads, with means for connecting the leads selectively to a source of electric current. The heat generating elements are formed of a film of boron phosphide. Preferably the leads are also formed of boron phosphide, integral with the elements, but "doped" to secure a high degree of conductivity. The printing head is formed by applying a boron phosphide compound on a substrate, covering the same with a passivation film, removing the passivation film to expose a background area of the compound film defining a central "island" of unexposed area, doping the exposed background area to increase the conductivity thereof, removing the passivation film from the island, and forming grooves in the compound film dividing the island into separate heat generating elements, with the grooves extended into the background area to form pairs of integral conductive leads for the elements.

摘要: In a coordinate detection apparatus, a resistance-film is formed on a substrate made of an insulating material. A common electrode applies a voltage to the resistance-film, the common electrode extending along a plurality of a resistance-film removal areas formed by removing portions of the resistance-film. A voltage application part applies the voltage to the common electrode. The voltage is applied from the voltage application part to the resistance-film through the common electrode to generate a potential distribution in the resistance-film. A coordinate position of a contact position at which the resistance-film is contacted is detected by detecting a potential of the resistance-film at the contact position.

摘要: Disclosed is a laminated inductor that has good direct current superimposition characteristics, does not cause a variation in temperature characteristics, suppresses the occurrence of delamination, and can be stably manufactured. Also disclosed are a method for manufacturing the laminated inductor and a laminated choke coil. A laminated inductor (10) for use as a choke coil in a power supply circuit includes a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped laminated chip (1) and at least one pair of external electrodes (8) that are provided at the end of the laminated chip (1) and are conductively connected to the end of a coil. The laminated chip (1) includes a plurality of magnetic material layers (3) formed of an Ni—Zn—Cu ferrite, a plurality of conductive layers (2), which are laminated through the magnetic material layers (3) to constitute a coil, and at least one nonmagnetic layer (4) formed of a Ti—Ni—Cu—Mn—Zr—Ag-base dielectric material and formed in contact with a plurality of the magnetic material layers (3).

摘要: When generating a temporary ROM code file and a design information file, a host server generates a dedicated ROM compiler and an intermediate file associated with the dedicated ROM compiler. In a workstation, the dedicated ROM compiler is executed, whereby the contents of a design information file are changed to the contents corresponding to a correct ROM code. The dedicated ROM compiler is specifically designed to be capable of changing only a particular design parameter and the design information file associated with the temporary ROM code file.
