    摘要: Disclosed is a thermal transfer recording medium comprising (i) a support, (ii) an adhesion layer formed on said support and (iii) a heat-fusible colorant layer formed on said adhesion layer and containing a colorant and a heat-fusible substance; said heat-fusible colorant layer containing a polyoxyethylene type compound having in the molecule at least one polyoxyethylene chain moiety represented by --O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2).sub.n wherein n is an integer of 2 or more.According to the medium of this invention, repeated uses are possible and images with high density can be obtained when a transfer paper with low surface smoothness or a transfer paper with high surface smoothness is employed.

    摘要: A thermal transfer recording medium having a support and two coloring agent layers provided on the same side thereof, in which the first coloring agent layer is a layer containing a resin and a coloring agent coated on the support and the second layer is a layer containing a heat-fusible material and a coloring agent coated on the first layer, and the respective coloring agents in the two layers have isochromatic color tone. The thermal transfer recording medium provides low energy printing at high speed with little decrease in its density even after being used for many copies, thus permitting high density dye transfer images to be obtained over very many times.

    摘要: There is disclosed a thermal transfer recording medium comprising a support, two or more coloring agent layer and optionally an intermediate layer, wherein one of the coloring agent layers contains a first heat-fusible substance selected from the group consisting of animal waxes, plant waxes, mineral waxes, petroleum waxes, synthetic hydrocarbon waxes and modified waxes and a layer adjacent to the coloring agent layer containing the first heat-fusible substance which contains a second heat-fusible substance which is immiscible with the first heat-fusible substance.According to the thermal transfer recording medium of the present invention, transferred images with constant transfer density can be obtained with an application energy at a certain level or higher and constant printed letter quality can be obtained for multiple times without being influenced by the subtle change in the application energy.

    摘要: A thermal transfer recording medium having at least one peel layer on a support and at least one heat-softening layer on the peel layer, and containing a coloring material in at least one layer of the peel layer and heat-softening layer, wherein;(i) the peel layer adjacent to the support contains a polyoxyethylene compound;(ii) at least one heat-softening layer contains an ionomer;(iii) at least one layer of the heat-softening layer has a breaking extension in the range of 70 to 200% at 27.degree. C.; or(iv) at least one substantially colorless protective layer constituting an outermost layer is laminated on the heat-softening layer.A method for preparing a thermal transfer recording medium, which comprises providing at least one peel layer on a support by hot-melt coating, and forming at least one heat-softening layer on the peel layer by water base coating.
