    摘要: There is provided a mobile terminal with an international dialing operation function, which enables unfamiliar and troublesome conversion into an international telephone number to be performed with a simpler operation and which performs conversion into an appropriate telephone number according to the location where the terminal has moved. The mobile terminal identifies its location with a location identification section and determines whether an originating call is a call to the originator's country or to a foreign country according to the identified location. If the call is to a foreign country, an international prefix according to the identified location is identified. Furthermore, a country code is set to correspond to the originator's country, or it is identified from the inputted counterpart's telephone number and the like. Conversion into an international telephone number is performed using the country code, and then a call is originated. When the call is originated to the originator's country, the domestic telephone number is used for origination without being converted. A converted number is displayed on an operation screen so that the originator may confirm whether it is appropriate or not.

Provided is a toner, containing at least a binder resin and a colorant in which: the binder resin in the toner contains 60% by mass or more of a styrene/acryl resin and a THF-insoluble fraction A which is an extraction residue obtained by carrying out Soxhlet extraction with tetrahydrofuran (THF) for 16 hours; the THF-insoluble fraction A contains a TOL-insoluble fraction B which is an extraction residue obtained by carrying out Soxhlet extraction with toluene (TOL) for 16 hours; and a mass ratio (B/A) between the THF-insoluble fraction A and the TOL-insoluble fraction B is in the range of 0.1≦B/A≦0.5.

    摘要: A toner for developing an electrostatic image is constituted by at least a binder resin and a charge control agent. The binder resin has an acid value of 5-50. The charge control agent comprises an iron complex represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 independently denote hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, nitro group or halogen atom; m and m' denote an integer of 1-3; R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 independently denote hydrogen atom, C.sub.1-18 alkyl or alkenyl, sufonamide, mesyl, sulfonic acid group, carboxy ester group, hydroxy, C.sub.1-18 alkoxy, acetylamino, benzoylamino or halogen atom; n and n' denote an integer of 1-3; R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 denote hydrogen atom or nitro group; and A.sup.+ denotes hydrogen ion, sodium ion, potassium ion or ammonium ion. The toner has a weight-average particle size (D.sub.4) of 4-9 .mu.m and including toner particles having a particle size of 5 .mu.m or smaller at 3-90% by number, toner particles having a particle size of 6.35-10.08 .mu.m at 1-80% by number and toner particles having a particle size of 12.7 .mu.m or larger at a percentage by volume of at most 2.0%, wherein the toner particles having a particle size of 5.0 .mu.m or smaller are contained at N % by number and at V % by volume satisfying a relationship:N/V=-0.05N+k,wherein k is a positive number in the range of 3.0-7.5.

    摘要: A toner for developing electrostatic images, comprises a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin comprises a vinyl copolymer having an acid anhydride group, and the binder resin has a total acid value (A) of 2-100 mgKOH/g and a total acid value (B) attributable to acid anhydride group of below 6 mgKOH/g so that [(B)/(A)].times.100 is 60% or less. Because the binder resin has a specified acid value partly attributable to acid anhydride group, the toner is provided with an adequate balance between chargeability and dischargeability, so that the toner shows a stable performance under various environmental conditions. The toner is particularly advantageously constituted as a magnetic toner of fine particle sizes suitably used under application of unsymmetrical alternating bias electric field.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus is formed by providing a latent image-bearing member for holding an electrostatic image thereon and a toner-carrying member for carrying a prescribed magnetic toner comprising a binder resin and magnetic powder and having a particle size distribution including 12% by number or more of magnetic toner particles of 5 microns or smaller, 33% by number or less of magnetic toner particles of 8-12.7 microns and 2% by volume or less of magnetic toner parcitles of 16 microns or larger so as to provide a volume-average particle size of 4-10 microns. At the developing station, an alternating bias voltage comprising a DC voltage and an unsymmetrical AC voltage in superposition is applied between the toner-carrying member and the latent image-bearing member to provide an alternating bias electric field comprising a development-side voltage component and a reverse-development side voltage component. The development-side voltage component has a magnitude equal to or larger than that of the reverse development-side voltage component and a duration smaller than that of the reverse-development side voltage component, so that the magnetic toner on the toner-carrying member, particularly fine powdery fraction thereof effective for high-quality development, is effectively transferred to the latent image-bearing member to develop the electrostatic image thereon at the developing station.

This toner has superior developing stability and running performance in high-speed machines, and can keep fixing separation claws from contamination.
