    Abstract: A compound having the structure of Formula I, A-L-B-M-D, is disclosed. In the structure of Formula I:A is selected from L is a linker selected from a single bond, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, and combinations thereof, and may be further substituted;L-B-M has the structure: M is selected from an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, and combinations thereof, and may be further substituted;D has the structure: X is O, S, Se, or CR′R″; X1-X8, Y1-Y12, Z1, Z3-Z8, and Z11-Z18 are each independently N or CR; each R, R′, and R″ are selected from a wide variety of substituents; where adjacent R substituents can form a fused ring; and R′ and R″ can form a ring. Formulations and devices, such as an OLEDs, that include the compound of Formula I are also described.

    Abstract: A composition formed of a first mixture of a first compound and a second compound wherein the first compound has different chemical structure than the second compound; the first compound is capable of functioning as a hole transporting material in an organic light emitting device at room temperature; the first compound comprises at least one carbazole group; the first compound has a evaporation temperature T1 of 150 to 350° C.; the second compound has evaporation temperature T2 of 150 to 350° C.; the absolute value of T1−T2 is less than 20° C.; the first compound having a concentration C1 in said first mixture, and the first compound having a concentration C2 in a film formed by evaporating the first mixture in a vacuum deposition tool at a constant pressure between 1×10−6 Torr to 1×10−9 Torr, at a 2 Å/sec deposition rate on a surface positioned at a predefined distance away from the mixture being evaporated; and wherein the absolute value of (C1−C2)/C1 is less than 5%.

    Abstract: A compound including a first ligand LA having the structure of Formula I, is disclosed. In Formula I, rings A and B are each a 6-membered rings; Z1 and Z2 are each carbon or nitrogen; each RA and RB is independently hydrogen or a variety of substituents; any two substituents are optionally joined or fused into a ring; at least one RA or RB comprises an aromatic group substituted by a bridge structure, and this RA or RB joins with an adjacent substituent and fuses to ring A or B; the bridge structure comprises a backbone structure that forms a fused first ring; the backbone structure is saturated, comprises at least one heteroatom, and is optionally further substituted; and the ligand LA is coordinated to a metal M that can be coordinated to other ligands.
