Abstract: A fish monitoring system deployed in a particular area to obtain fish images is described. Neural networks and machine-learning techniques may be implemented to periodically train fish monitoring systems and generate monitoring modes to capture high quality images of fish based on the conditions in the determined area. The camera systems may be configured according to the settings, e.g., positions, viewing angles, specified by the monitoring modes when conditions matching the monitoring modes are detected. Abstract: A method for ship ballasting includes receiving, at a carbon negative energy storage system, input comprising calcium oxide and water and reacting, within a reaction chamber of the carbon negative energy storage system, the calcium oxide and water to release energy and generate calcium hydroxide. The method includes directing, by the carbon negative energy storage system, the released energy to a requesting end user and providing, by the carbon negative energy storage system, the calcium hydroxide to a marine vessel ballasting system. The method includes releasing a mixture of the calcium hydroxide and ballast water from the marine vessel ballasting system into the ocean to sequester atmospheric CO2.

The processes can include selecting, based on the impact scores, individual trees to be trimmed. The processes can include generating trimming data that includes the location of the tree on a graphical map, and providing the trimming data for display on the one or more computing devices.

And at a distal end of the node, each of the tethers is separated from the neighboring tethers. The airborne wind turbine system includes a control system configured to operate the drive system to translate the node along the tethers.

A position of a device is determined based at least in part on the image data from the visible-light camera. An infrared camera is positioned so that the device is in a field of view of the infrared camera, with the field of view of the infrared camera being narrower than the field of view of the visible-light camera. Infrared image data from the infrared camera that includes regions representing the device is obtained. Infrared image data from the infrared camera that represents the device is recorded. Position data is also recorded that indicates the location and pose of the infrared camera when the infrared image data is acquired by the infrared camera.
