Abstract: Display panel and display device are provided. The display panel includes: a color film substrate, an array substrate, at least one light sensitive unit, and collimating apertures penetrating a portion of film layers of the color film substrate and the array substrate along a first direction perpendicular to the display panel. The collimating apertures and the at least one light sensitive unit are disposed in a one-to-one correspondence. The color film substrate includes a first substrate, a first light-blocking layer with first openings, and at least one second light-blocking layer with second openings. The array substrate includes a third light-blocking layer with third openings. An orthographic projection of each first opening, an orthographic projection of a corresponding second opening, and an orthographic projection of a corresponding third opening, at least partially overlap an orthographic projection of a corresponding collimating aperture on the first substrate.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a backlight module, a method for manufacturing the backlight module, and a display device. The backlight module includes a substrate, a plurality of LED chips, and a first film having a plurality of channels. Each channel is filled with a channel filling portion. A refractive index n1 of the first film is smaller than a refractive index of the channel filling portion is n2. The first film has a first region and second region. Channels in the first region are astigmatism holes for diverging the light having a high intensity and channels in the second region are light-converging holes for converging the light having a low intensity, thereby alleviating or eliminating the starry phenomenon.

Abstract: A display panel comprises a display region, a non-display region, and a black matrix. The display region includes a plurality of pixels arranged in both a first direction and a second direction, where the plurality of pixels are arranged in the first direction to form a plurality of pixel rows and, meanwhile, arranged in the second direction to form a plurality of pixel columns, and a pixel includes a light-transmitting area. The black matrix does not overlap with the light-transmitting area. The display region includes at least one irregular edge intersecting both the first direction and the second direction. The plurality of pixels include a plurality of first pixels intersecting the at least one irregular edge and a plurality of second pixels without intersecting the at least one irregular edge, and the light-transmitting area of the first pixel is smaller than the light-transmitting area of the second pixel.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a liquid crystal display panel and a display device. The liquid crystal display panel includes a display area; and a non-display area surrounding the display area, wherein the display area includes a plurality of sub-areas, each of the plurality of sub-areas is provided with a plurality of pixel electrodes, all of the pixel electrodes in a sub-area have an identical brightness control parameter; and the brightness control parameter of the pixel electrodes in at least one sub-area is different from the brightness control parameter of the pixel electrodes in another sub-area. By setting different brightness control parameters based on different temperature rise in the sub-areas, the problem of poor Gamma uniformity of the display panel can be solved, and the possibility of occurrence of ghost can be reduced, thereby increasing display quality of the liquid crystal display panel.

Abstract: Provided are a display panel, a driving method thereof and a display device, for improving the quality of displayed images and reducing the power consumption. The display panel includes first and second pixel units of opposite polarities, and first and second data lines for transmitting signals of opposite polarities. The first and the second pixel units each includes at least two sub-pixels of different colors. The first data line is connected to the first pixel units in the (j−1)th and jth columns of sub-pixels. Sub-pixels in the first pixel unit in the (j−1)th column have different colors from those in the first pixel unit in the jth column. The second data line is connected to the second pixel units in the jth and (j+1)th columns. Sub-pixels in the second pixel unit in the jth column have different colors from those in the second pixel unit in the (j+1)th column.
