Abstract: The present disclosure discloses systems and methods for re-ordering queued print jobs. The method includes executing one or more already received print jobs listed in a print queue of a printer. Then, a new print job is received in the print queue of the printer. A message is displayed to the user with an option to re-order the new print job, via a user interface. Based on the user input, the new print job is re-ordered by moving the new print job to the top of the print queue of the printer. Finally, the new print job is printed first followed by printing the one or more already received print jobs.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for securing documents submitted for scanning at a device such as a multi-function device. The method includes scanning a document received from a user. A user interface is provided to the user to define a document type and to further define an access level for accessing the scanned document. Then, scanned data is generated. The scanned data is encoded based on a unique identity of the device and based on the access level such that the scanned data is accessible by the user and/or by one or more other users according to the defined access level. Finally, the scanned document is generated. Later when the scanned document is accessed by any user, details of the user accessing the scanned document is matched with details added in the encoded scanned data. Based on matching, the user is allowed to access the scanned document.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for generating multiple scanned files when scanning a document. The method includes receiving a document for scanning from a user. Once received, a user interface is displayed to the user to input one or more keywords based on which multiple scanned files are to be generated. A single scanned file is generated in a pre-defined format. One or more pages having the keywords as input by the user are identified from the scanned file. Based on the one or more identified pages having the keywords input by the user, separate multiple scanned files are automatically generated. As a result, a single scan activity performed by the user generates multiple scanned files.

Abstract: A divider separates an enclosure into separate compartments that are shaped and sized to maintain sheets of media. Abstract: Methods and systems for extracting impression marks from a substrate (e.g., paper, foil, textile, etc.). In an example embodiment, an image of a substrate can be captured. Then, physical impressions on the substrate can be detected in the image. The physical impressions are scanned and highlighted a digital image configured, which is indicative of the actual physical impressions. The scanning and highlighting of the physical impressions can involve enhancing the image to digitally and electronically reproduce the physical impressions. This approach can be implemented in the context of a mobile scanning application that scans the physical impression(s) and highlights it, and saves the resulting image as an electronic document.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for facilitating printing of one or more documents from an external storage device in a secure manner. The method includes receiving the external storage device by a multi-function device. A trigger event caused by connection of the external storage device with the multi-function device is detected, the external storage device stores one or more documents for printing. At least one document for printing is selected by the user. The at least one selected document is stored in a memory of the multi-function device. A notification is displayed to the user for removing the external storage device from the multi-function device. A trigger event caused by disconnection of the external storage device is detected. A print process is initiated for the at least one selected when the external storage device is disconnected from the multi-function device. The at least one selected document is printed.
