Abstract:
A display method and display device are provided. The method includes: detecting whether a displayed content in a display screen changes; in response to detecting that the displayed content does not change, controlling the display screen to update alternately display data respectively corresponding to odd pixels and even pixels in each row of display unit. The number of updated pixels of the display screen each time may be reduced, while the original refresh frequency is maintained, so the problem that the splash screen phenomena is caused in the display screen by reducing the refresh frequency of the display screen may be solved, thus achieving effects of avoiding the splash screen phenomena of the display screen and of reducing the power consumption of the display screen while maintaining the original refresh frequency of the display screen.
Abstract:
A display method and a display device are disclosed. The method includes: detecting whether a displayed content in a display screen changes; controlling the display screen to update alternately display data respectively corresponding to a first part and a second part of a display unit in each column of display unit, in response to detecting that the displayed content does not change.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a backlight control method and device. The method includes: acquiring, for a display block in a screen, grayscale values of respective pixels in an image displayed in the display block, the screen including one or more display blocks; determining, according to the acquired grayscale values, a minimum value among a predetermined number of largest grayscale values; and when the minimum value reaches or exceeds a threshold grayscale value, controlling the grayscale values of the respective pixels to be unchanged, and controlling a backlight intensity of the display block to be a maximum backlight intensity.
Abstract:
A method and a device for adjusting and displaying an image are provided. The method includes: monitoring the distance between a user in front of a display screen and the display screen; when monitoring that a distance between the user and the display screen is less than a preset threshold, determining an adjusted size of an image on the display screen according to the distance; and displaying the image on the display screen according to the adjusted size.
Abstract:
A color adjustment method includes obtaining a current color gamut mode of a pixel, converting the current color gamut mode of the pixel to a preset color gamut mode to obtain a blue component of the pixel in the preset color gamut mode, and performing an intensity weakening adjustment on the blue component of the pixel in the preset color gamut mode.
Abstract:
An image processing method and device are provided. The method includes: choosing content-associated sub pixels in an image to be processed; obtaining an initial color level value of each of the content-associated sub pixels in the image to be processed; adding to least one digit to an end of the initial color level value and assigning a preset value to each added digit so as to obtain a processed color level value; and replacing the initial color level value with the processed color level value.
Abstract:
A display method, device and a computer-readable medium are provided. The method includes: detecting whether there is any change in a displayed content for the display; in response to detecting that the displayed content for the display does not change, controlling the display to alternately update display data corresponding to a first portion and a second portion of display units in each row when the display unit comprises m rows of pixels; and in response to detecting that the displayed content for the display does not change, controlling the display to alternately update display data corresponding to a third portion and a fourth portion of display units in each column when the display unit comprises n columns of pixels. Herein m and n are positive integers. Thus, screen flicker caused by reduction of refresh frequency of a display while the display content does not change can be avoided.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display (LCD) is provided. The LCD includes: a display panel and a touch panel, each electrically connected to a control unit, a top surface of the display panel being adhered to a bottom surface of the touch panel. The display panel includes: a lower substrate; an upper substrate disposed in parallel with the lower substrate; a liquid crystal layer and n wires enclosed in a cavity defined by the upper substrate and the lower substrate, each of the n wires including a first conductive terminal, a second conductive terminal, and a switch opening configured to connect the first conductive terminal and the second conductive terminal, n being a positive integer; and a plurality of protruding spacers disposed inside the cavity.
Abstract:
A bezel of a display includes source lines with a same length, gate in panel (GIP) lines, and at least two customized integrated circuit (IC) chips arranged along a straight line in a lateral direction. Each of the customized IC chips is coupled to at least one of the source lines or the GIP lines. Circuit layouts on the customized IC chips are, together, equivalent to a circuit layout on a standard IC chip. A sum of widths of the customized IC chips in the lateral direction is greater than a width of the standard IC chip.
Abstract:
Methods and devices are disclosed for detecting touch pressure on a display panel including one or more transparent electrodes. In one implementation, a method includes detecting one or more capacitance values corresponding to each of one or more capacitors formed between the one or more transparent electrodes and a support array in the display panel, determining a representative capacitance value from the detected one or more capacitance values, and determining a pressure value exerted on the display panel according to at least the representative capacitance value.
