    摘要: A control apparatus for an AC-AC direct converter. The control apparatus includes a calculator providing a phase command θ* of an output voltage of the converter, a calculator providing a q-axis current iq by using output currents iu and iw and the phase command θ*, a detector detecting a pulsation component contained in the q-axis current iq, a calculator providing a phase correction magnitude θcmp so as to decrease the pulsation component, and an adder/subtractor correcting the phase command θ* by using the correction magnitude θcmp. This apparatus can decrease the output voltage distortion and low frequency torque pulsation and can suppress the increase of an output current without weakening a magnetic flux, even when the converter is operated in an overmodulation region.

    摘要: An electric current sensor for sensing an electric current flowing through a conductor comprises a single hall element having a magnetic-flux sensitive surface, and an angle adjusting mechanism. The angle adjusting mechanism changes an angle between the magnetic-flux sensitive surface and the direction of a magnetic flux induced by the electric current flowing through the conductor. The magneto-electric conversion element outputs an electric signal in response to a magnetic flux density at the magnetic-flux sensitive surface. The electric current sensor detects the electric current flowing through the conductor based on the electric signal output from the magneto-electric conversion element whose magnetic-flux sensitive surface is oriented with respect to the magnetic flux at a selected angle.

    摘要: A power converter directly converting an AC voltage into an AC voltage of any desired magnitude and frequency by turning bidirectional switches ON and OFF without employing any energy buffer, where the peak values of output phase voltage command values are limited, to bring the amplitude of an output line voltage to, at most, 0.866 times the amplitude of the supply line voltages. By way of example, the peak-value limit of the output phase voltage command values is set so that the maximum value of the output phase voltage command values becomes, at most, 0.75 times the maximum value of supply phase voltages, while the minimum value thereof becomes, at least, 0.75 times the minimum value of the supply phase voltages. This control method for the direct power converter dispenses with an expensive dedicated motor, and permits a reduction in cost of the control apparatus as a whole.
