    摘要: An power converter includes an unfolder connected to a three-phase source and has an output connection with a positive terminal, a negative terminal and a neutral terminal. The unfolder creates two unipolar piece-wise sinusoidal DC voltage waveforms offset by a half of a period. A three-input converter connected to the unfolder produces a quasi-sinusoidal output voltage across output terminals. Switches of the converter selectively connect the positive, negative and neutral inputs across the output terminals. A PWM controller controls a first duty ratio and a second duty ratio for the converter based on a phase angle of the source and a modulation index generated from an error signal related to a control variable. The duty ratios are time varying with a fundamental frequency of the source. The modulation index relates to output voltage of the converter, peak voltage or current of the source and/or peak current at the output terminals.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a distributed high-frequency AC electrical system for the electric vehicle. The system divides all loads of the electric vehicle into four load areas according to their spatial positions. Four high-frequency inverters and four DC input interfaces are contained in the system, with each of the four load areas being configured with one of the four high-frequency inverters, and each of the four high-frequency inverters being configured with one of the four DC input interfaces. One end of each DC input interface is connected to the DC side of the corresponding high-frequency inverter, and the other end is connected to the storage battery of the electric vehicle. Each high-frequency inverter outputs a high-frequency AC bus to supply power for the loads in the corresponding load area, and the four high-frequency inverters are in a parallel operation state through a high-frequency connection point that connects the four high-frequency AC buses. The present invention has the advantages of simplifying the electrical system structure of the electric vehicle, improving the system stability, and the like.

    摘要: Various examples are provided for soft switching solid state transformers and converters, and their operation and application. In one example, a soft switching solid state power transformer includes a high frequency (HF) transformer; first and second auxiliary resonant circuits coupled to the HF transformer; and first and second current-source inverter (CSI) bridges coupled to the corresponding first auxiliary resonant circuits. The first and second CSI bridges include reverse blocking switch assemblies that conduct current in one direction and block voltage in both directions. In another example, a reactive power compensator includes a high frequency (HF) transformer; first, second and third auxiliary resonant circuits coupled to the HF transformer; and first, second and third current-source inverter (CSI) bridges coupled to the corresponding first auxiliary resonant circuits. In another example, a converter includes an auxiliary resonant circuit coupled across an inductor and first and second CSI bridges coupled across the inductor.

    摘要: Multiphase generator-conversion systems and clusters are disclosed. The multiphase generator-conversion systems include a multiphase n-stator generator, n conversion lines and a transformer module. Each n conversion line is coupled to the plurality of phase lines of one of the n stators, respectively. Each conversion line comprises a rectification module, coupled to the respective plurality of phase lines, configured to receive a multiphase AC voltage and generate a first DC voltage at an output. A dc/ac inverter is coupled to the output of the respective rectification module. The dc/ac inverter receives the first dc voltage and generates a single-phase AC voltage at an output. The transformer module is arranged to receive the n single-phases of the dc/ac inverters and generate an n-phase AC voltage at an output. This voltage is input to a single diode rectifier. Multiphase generator-conversion clusters include multiphase generator-conversion systems arranged to be coupled to a diode rectifier.
