摘要: A solid-state imaging device is provided with picture elements which are each composed of a photoelectric conversion element and a MOS transistor as a switching element and which are arranged in the form of a matrix. A scanning mechanism sequentially scans the picture elements to sequentially read out photoelectric conversion signals. To eliminate smear and reduce parasitic capacitance, a high-impurity-concentration diffusion layer serving as an output terminal of the MOS transistor constituting the picture element is formed on an insulator layer for isolating the elements.

摘要: The method of chromatographic separation comprises: a feed-withdrawal step in which, with liquid flow being permitted from the first to the third unit beds in the simulated moving bed, an eluant is fed into the first unit bed and the feed stock is fed into the third unit bed while, at the same time, part of the effluent from the first unit bed is withdrawn from the system as a fraction rich in component B and the effluent from the third unit bed is withdrawn from the system as a fraction rich in component C; a circulation stage in which, with liquid circulation being permitted through the simulated moving bed, the liquid in the simulated moving bed is moved downstream without liquid feed to or withdrawal from the simulated moving bed; and a withdrawal stage in which, with liquid flow being permitted from the second to the first unit beds, the eluant is fed to the second unit bed and the effluent from the first unit bed is withdrawn from the system as a fraction rich in component A; wherein, after the above three stages are performed, the same stages are repeated except that feed stock and eluant are fed to, and effluents are withdrawn from unit beds which exist immediately downstream of the respective corresponding unit beds.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for the purification of a saccharide, characterized in that, water and a feedstock solution containing at least L-arabinose and oligosaccharide where L-arabinose and/or xylose are/is the constituting component(s) obtained by hydrolysis of plant tissues are supplied to a chromatographic apparatus of a simulated moving-bed system where a solution can be circulated in one direction in an apparatus equipped with a packed bed in which an adsorbent is filled and the solution in the packed bed is moved in one direction whereupon at least L-arabinose and oligosaccharide are separated each other and concentration distribution of each of them is formed in the packed bed, then at least a concentrated L-arabinose solution and a concentrated oligosaccharide solution are extracted from the packed bed and, in addition, an inlet for the feedstock solution, an inlet for water, an outlet for the concentrated L-arabinose solution and an outlet for the concentrated oligosaccharide solution are successively shifted to the downstream inlets or outlets along the flowing direction of the solution.
