The second connector electrically connects with the electrical part, and is electrically connected to the first connector. A car-body-side securing portion is arranged in the member. A pad-side securing portion is disposed on the pad. The car-body-side securing portion and the pad-side securing portion are engaged with each other so as to secure the member and the pad and connect the first connector with the second connector.

A side cover covers the switch unit fixedly mounted on a side surface of a seat portion. Windows are formed through the side cover, and the switch portions are exposed through these windows. Flanges are formed at peripheral edge portions of the windows, and projects outwardly beyond the switch portions. Preferably, the switch portions are arranged in corresponding relation to directions of movement of the seat.

    摘要: An arrangement and method for establishing an electrical and mechanical connection between electrically conductive members. The arrangement includes an electrically conductive connecting member, two electrically conductive metallic members disposed opposite each other, flanking the connecting member, and clamping the connecting member therebetween, and a source of laser energy oriented such that an output beam therefrom is incident on an outer surface of one of the metallic members and directed towards the underlying connecting member to establish a weld connection at zones of mutual contact between the connecting member and the respective metallic members. The connecting member includes a cable or the like and the metallic members include contact terminals, busbars or the like. In the method, the connecting member is positioned between the metallic members and the output beam is radiated on one of the metallic members in the direction of the connecting member so as to weld the connecting member to the metallic members.

    摘要: Band bodies (31) of bendable harness fastening and fixing bands (30) are formed integrally on the vicinity of an outer surface of a duct partition wall (22a) of an air duct (21) on an instrument panel (20) of a vehicle body. First band retaining rings (24) are formed respectively on those portions of the instrument panel (20) corresponding respectively to the band bodies (31), and second band retaining rings (25) are formed on the outer surface of the air duct partition wall (22a). A series of catching notches (32), arranged in a one-way notched arresting manner, are formed on a reverse surface of the band body (31), and each of the first and second band retaining rings (24) and (25) have a lock portion for engagement with the catching notches (32) to prevent the backward movement of the band body. Any one of several kinds of wire harnesses (40) to (42) of different diameter can be fixed by the use of the first band retaining rings (24). Also, a wire harness (50) in the form of a flat cable of a flattened cross-section can be fixed by the use of the second band retaining rings (25).

    摘要: An electric equipment unit is mounted to a mount opening as in an instrument panel. The unit has on top a panel-connecting means electrically connected with its internal circuit, and on opposite left and right sides at an upper portion thereof clamps and at a lower portion thereof support shaft means. The mount opening has on its upper inner surface a unit-connecting means, on opposite left and right inner surfaces at an upper portion thereof fixing holes and at a lower portion thereof shaft-receiving means. The unit is rotated and mounted to the mount opening, with its support shaft means engaged in the mount opening shaft-receiving means, so that the clamps fit in the fixing holes, while at the same time the panel-connecting means is contacted and electrically connected with the unit-connecting means. The mountability of an electric equipment unit to a structure such as an instrument panel is so improved as to enable easy blind operation, while making it possible to attain the mounting and the electric connection at one time.
