Abstract: A sheet feeding device is provided. The sheet feeding device includes a body, a sheet cassette, a lifting plate, which is movable to an uplifted position when the sheet cassette is in the body and to a lowered position when the sheet cassette is outside the body, and uplifts the stack of sheets according to the uplifting movement thereof, a feeder to pick up and feed a topmost sheet, and a restrictive member, which is movable in association with the movement of the lifting plate. The restrictive member is in a restrictive position, in which at least a restricting part of the restrictive member is arranged over the stack of sheets, when the lifting plate is in the lowered position. The restrictive member is in a retracted position, in which the restrictive member is retracted off from the stack of sheets, when the lifting plate is in the uplifted position.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a feeder unit, and a frame unit. The frame unit includes a pair of plate-like metal frames, each plate-like metal frame having an inner surface extending in a parallel direction to a sheet feeding path and in a perpendicular direction of a surface of a recording sheet, and a plurality of connecting frames connecting and holding the metal frames to be apart from each other. The image forming unit is arranged in space defined by the connecting frames and held by the metal frames to be substantially fitted in between the metal frames. The feeder unit is attached to an end of each of the metal frames by an attachment system provided on each widthwise side of the feeder unit. The attachment system fixes the feeder unit along a direction in parallel with the inner surfaces of the metal frames.

Abstract: A rotating fluid machine is provided with a rotor chamber, a rotor accommodated in the rotor chamber, and vanes guided by vane grooves formed in the rotor. A U-shaped vane seal is held by a seal holding groove formed in the end face of each of the vanes. The opposite ends of the vane seal are fitted into slits in seal ancillary members which are fitted into engaging holes formed in the end faces of each of the vanes. The seal ancillary members are pressed by springs toward the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber. The pressure of a gaseous phase working medium introduced into the bottom parts of the seal holding grooves is restrained from leaking out of the ends of the vane seal by the seal ancillary members. Thus, sealing performance can be secured by pressing the vane seal against the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber.

Abstract: A laminated dielectric block (3) is formed by laminating dielectric sheets (31) each having a conductive film formed on its one surface so as to constitute at least one filter (2). A radiation element (1) is provided so as to fix to the laminating dielectric block, wherein one electrode of the filter is electrically connected to the radiation element. The other electrode (22) of the filter is connected to a feeding terminal electrode (4) provided mounting face B (a face opposing to a circuit board) of the laminated dielectric block through a via-contact (33) and a wiring (34), not being exposed to the side face. As a result, an antenna with built-in filter of the structure where even if it is mounted on a circuit board, interference between an electronic circuit on the circuit board and the feeding terminal electrode of the antenna is prevented to improve the isolation characteristic and transmitting or receiving characteristic.

Abstract: In the method for evaluating a welded part, it is performed to make an inspection press member press the welded part for connecting a plurality of wires with each other to apply a predetermined compressive load on the welded part. Next, it is performed to measure an amount of strain of the welded part when it is subjected to the compressive load. The evaluation of the welded part in welding condition is carried out by judging whether or not the measured amount of strain is within a predetermined range.
