摘要： A display device comprises an optical module, a light source unit, a container and a display panel. The optical module comprises at least one optical member and a transparent adhesion member combined with the optical member. The optical member has a first modulus of elasticity, and the transparent adhesion member has a second modulus of elasticity that is substantially identical to the first modulus of elasticity. The light source unit is disposed in a light providing region of the display device to generate a light. The container receives the light source unit and the optical module. The display panel is received in the container and disposed in a display region of the display device. The display panel displays an image based on a light passing through the optical module.

摘要： In a backlight assembly capable of improving display quality and an LCD apparatus having the backlight assembly, the backlight assembly includes a lamp and an insulating member. The lamp includes a lamp tube and an electrode disposed on an end portion of the lamp tube. The insulating member is combined with the end portion of the lamp so as to surround the electrode and to prevent a heat generated from the electrode from being conducted toward the lamp tube. Therefore, a display quality of the LCD apparatus is improved.

The portable multimedia device includes: a display bracket housing the display window; a PCB bracket installed at a rear surface of the display bracket and is movable within a limited range in a thickness direction; a PCB fixed in the PCB bracket between the display bracket and the PCB bracket; and a plurality of tact switches installed around a periphery of the PCB capable of contacting the rear surface of the display bracket. Each of the tact switches controls one or more function of the portable multimedia device.

摘要： In a lamp driving apparatus, backlight assembly and liquid crystal display device using the same, the lamp driving module is mounted on the substrate and provides lamps with power voltage. Sensors are disposed on the substrate to face the lamps, and detect operation state of the lamps to output sensing signals. Voltage cut-off module is disposed on the substrate and compares the sensing signals with a predetermined reference signal. The voltage cut-off module provides the lamp driving module with voltage cut-off signal when at least one of the sensing signals has an amplitude smaller than the reference signal. The deterioration of the lamps may be prevented, and the life expectancy of lamps except broken lamps may be increased.

摘要： A backlight assembly includes a light guide plate including a light incident face, a light exiting face extended from one end portion of the light incident face, and a reflection face extended from another end portion of the light incident face. The reflection face includes a first reflection face extended from another end portion of the light incident face, and a second reflection face horizontally extended from the first reflection face. The backlight assembly additionally includes a light adsorption member disposed adjacent to the reflection face to prevent the light from reflecting. A reflection plate and optical sheets are disposed adjacent to the light guide plate, so that entire thickness of the backlight assembly is reduced. In addition, leakage of the light incident around the third light exiting face is prevented to improve the quality of the image displayed through the LCD device.
