The optical module comprises at least one optical member and a transparent adhesion member combined with the optical member. The light source unit is disposed in a light providing region of the display device to generate a light. The container receives the light source unit and the optical module. The display panel is received in the container and disposed in a display region of the display device. The display panel displays an image based on a light passing through the optical module.

    摘要: In a backlight assembly and an LCD apparatus having the same, the backlight assembly includes a lamp that generates light and a light guiding plate. The light guiding plate includes a light incident surface, a light reflecting surface and a light exiting surface. The light generated from the lamp is incident into the light incident surface. The light reflecting surface is extended from a side of the light incident surface. The light reflecting surface has a prism pattern. The light exiting surface is extended from another side of the light incident surface. An angle formed between the light incident surface and the light exiting surface is smaller than about 90 degrees, and the light incident surface and the light reflecting surface face each other.

    摘要: An optical sheet includes a diffusion layer, a brightness enhancement layer, and a reflecting pattern layer. The diffusion layer diffuses the light generated from a light source, e.g. a lamp. The brightness enhancement layer is on the diffusion layer. The reflecting pattern layer is between the brightness enhancement layer and includes a gap and a reflective structure in a first region and a second region, respectively. to the reflective structure maintains a distance between the brightness enhancement layer and the diffusion layer. The optical sheet is useful for enhancing the luminance of the light from the lamp. When used with a backlight assembly for a display device, the optical sheet is capable of enhancing the luminance while also decreasing the overall thickness of the backlight assembly.
