The duty cycle generator includes a first inverter, a second inverter, a signal protection unit including an input terminal coupled to the duty cycle signal for generating a break pulse to generate a protected duty cycle signal, a comparator for comparing a triangle-wave signal with a comparison signal to generate a comparison result, a NOR gate for generating a reset signal according to the comparison result and the protected duty cycle signal, an SR-latch for outputting a turn-on signal according to the clock signal and the reset signal, and an AND gate for generating the duty cycle signal according to the inverted clock signal and the turn-on signal.

    摘要: A vertical capacitor-less DRAM cell is described, including: a source layer having a first conductivity type, a storage layer disposed on the source layer and having a second conductivity type, an active layer disposed on the storage layer and having the first conductivity type, a drain layer disposed on the active layer and having the second conductivity type, an address gate disposed beside the active layer and separated from the same by a first gate dielectric layer, and a storage gate disposed beside the storage layer and separated from the same by a second gate dielectric layer. The DRAM cell can be written by turning on the MOSFET formed by the storage layer, the active layer, the drain layer, the first gate dielectric layer and the address gate to inject carriers into the storage layer from the active layer.

    摘要: An enhanced wavelength-converting structure is disclosed. The enhanced wavelength-converting structure includes a substrate, a wavelength-converting layer arranged next to the substrate, and a wavelength-selective reflecting layer arranged next to the wavelength-converting layer. The wavelength-converting layer converts the first light into the second light. A part of the second light radiating backward to the light source is further reflected toward the substrate by the wavelength-selective reflecting layer to form the enhanced second light by combining with another part of the second light radiating toward the substrate.

    摘要: An optical recording method and apparatus with different recording rates are provided for effectively increasing the average recording rate. The optical recording method includes the steps of: controlling a recording rate with a constant linear velocity (CLV) control mode; recording data; judging whether the recording rate has to be increased according to a rotating speed of a spindle motor or a recording position; and performing a process for changing the rotating speed if the recording rate is increased, and continuing recording data at the same recording rate if the recording rate is not increased. The step for changing the rotating speed includes the steps of: pausing recording data; registering a paused zone of a disc; determining a new rotating speed of the spindle motor, and driving the spindle motor at the new rotating speed; and linking recording zones to continue recording data at a new recording rate from the paused zone, when the rotating speed of the spindle motor is stable. Consequently, the invention can optimize the overall average recording rate by effectively utilizing the maximum rotating speed of the spindle motor in conjunction with the maximum recording rate.
