Abstract: According to various implementations, a device, such as a wireless communication device, carries out the following actions: for each element of a spreading sequence to be applied, determining, based on the element, whether to carry out randomization on a coded data stream, in which each element of the spreading sequence belongs to the set {1, −1, j, −j}; for each element of the spreading sequence for which randomization is determined to be applied, applying, based on the value of the element, one or more randomization techniques to the coded data stream; modulating the coded data stream; and transmitting the modulated data stream.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices related to digital wireless communication, and more specifically, to techniques related to generating a scrambled payload that distinguishes a wireless device using an initialization scrambling sequence. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication may include generating a scrambled payload, where the scrambled payload is generated using an initialization scrambling sequence that is at least partially based on a preamble index and includes a length of 31 bits. The method also may include transmitting a first message to a communication node during a random access procedure, the first message including the scrambled payload.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for digital wireless communication, and more specifically, for the use of pilot sequences that improves performance of channel estimation. In one exemplary aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a communication node is disclosed. The method includes determining, using a first index, a mask sequence from a plurality of pre-determined mask sequences, wherein the plurality of pre-determined mask sequences is determined based on permutations of values 1, −1, i, and −i or permutations of values 1+i, or 1−i, or −1+i, or −1−i; determining a Walsh sequence using a second index, wherein the Wash sequence has a same length as the mask sequence; generating a pilot sequence by combining the mask sequence and the Walsh sequence; and performing a wireless transmission using the pilot sequence.

Abstract: Disclosed are a modulation method, demodulation method, and apparatus for multi-user information transmission. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing a modulation symbol. The present invention solves the problem in the relevant art that an uncertain number of transmission power ratios affects the performance of a system and increases the design complexity of signaling, thereby reducing signaling overheads and improving system stability and demodulation performance.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to wireless communication formats that avoid conflicts in message transmissions. In one implementation, conflicts are avoided by determining that transmitting the uplink message according to a first transmission format will result in a conflict, and responsively determining to transmit the uplink message according to a second transmission format. In another implementation, conflicts are avoided by waiting to transmit a message part until a next time unit of a physical channel that is not conflicted. In another implementation, conflicts are avoided by configuring time units of a second physical channel relative to time units of a first physical channel according to an uplink time unit offset.
