    Abstract: A system and method for channel access in licensed and unlicensed spectrums are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method performed by a communication node, includes: detection of an idle channel associated with a communication device after performance of a channel access procedure; transmitting an initial signal after the detection of the idle channel, wherein the initial signal configures a communication device to start detecting a control channel; and transmitting a control signal using the control channel to the communication device after the transmitting the initial signal.

    Abstract: This patent document describes, among other things techniques for determining when to switch between a channel access procedure that includes a listen before talk (LBT) process and a channel access procedure that does not include a LBT process. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a first network node from a second network node, a message specifying a first channel access procedure to be used by the first network node after being powered up. The method further includes selecting, by the first network node, a second channel access procedure to be used after the first channel access procedure after satisfying a condition, wherein if the condition is not satisfied the first network node continues to use the first channel access procedure.

    Abstract: Provided are a random access method and device, a user equipment and a storage medium. The method includes: determining listen-before-talk (LBT) priority levels for performing an LBT mechanism corresponding to messages transmitted during a random access process, and/or LBT priority levels of an LBT mechanism corresponding to different physical random access channel (PRACH) formats; and transmitting the messages for random access by means of the determined LBT priority levels corresponding to the messages and/or LBT priority levels corresponding to different PRACH formats after successfully performing the LBT mechanism. In such a way, the problem of the need of optimizing random access for a user equipment in the related art is resolved, thereby optimizing random access and improving the random access success rate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, systems and devices for transmitting initial access information from a base station to a user equipment (UE). One method includes notifying, by the base station, the UE to support at least one subcarrier spacing (SCS); communicating, by the base station, a subcarrier offset to the UE; and configuring, by the base station, a multiplexing pattern between initial access information. Another method includes receiving, by the UE from the base station, notification to support at least one subcarrier spacing (SCS); receiving, by the UE from the base station, a communication comprising a subcarrier offset; and receiving, by the UE from the base station, a configuration for a multiplexing pattern between initial access information.
