    摘要: A cooking unit has electric hotplates (115) fitted in openings (113) of a mounting plate (112) and each electric hotplate is fixed against rotation. The associated rotation prevention member (14) can e.g. be an elastically movable tongue, which cooperates with a depression (132) in the vicinity of the outer, lower marginal edge (128) of the electric hotplate (115) and slopes upwards from the center in a substantially linear manner. However, even without any directly acting connection to the mounting plate, the rotation prevention member can prevent the rotation of at least two hotplates with respect to one another and combine the same to a rotation preventing compound unit. This leads to a constructionally very simple, easily assemblable and reliable fixing of the electric hotplates.

    摘要: A continuous flow electric heater for heating liquid contained in a liquid container has a plurality of parallel tubular heating ducts (7b) each bounded by a tubular wall (ib) having upper and lower ends connected respectively to a lower inflow chamber (19b) and an upper outflow chamber (31). The inflow chamber (19b) forms a collector for solids which many separate from the liquid being heated and is defined by a pot-shaped body having a large area solids removal opening closed by a removable cover (25b) and providing access to the interior of the inflow chamber (19b) over the entire width thereof, thereby allowing full access to the interior of the ducts (7b). A tubular heating resistor (17b) is helically wound around each tubular wall portion (8b) to heat the liquid flowing therethrough. A common reception tube (27b) tangentially engaging each tubular wall (8b) between two adjacent turns of the heating resistor thereon removably receives the temperature sensor of a thermal cutout protector. The temperature sensor of a temperature regulator is removably received in the reception tube (35) located in the upper portion of the inflow chamber (19b).

Electric hotplate (4) can be raised upwards from hob (2), which also breaks the connection between hotplate body (11) and baking oven muffle (7) formed by the venting duct (10).

    摘要: A power control includes a thick film resistor on an electrically insulating support plate, for heating a bimetal strip operating switch contacts connecting power to a load, and to the resistor. The support plate is secured and the resistor thereon is electrically contacted by means of a resilient clip at one end, in the vicinity of a fixed end of the bimetal strip. An opposite end of the support is connected to a power source via a movable contact spring. An opposite free end of the bimetal strip acts directly on the switch contacts to disconnect power upon bending of the bimetal strip with heat. The bimetal strip and a control operator for biasing the bimetal strip are shaped like an L, with two legs pivotable around a pin adjacent the base of the bimetal strip.

    摘要: A glass ceramic cooking appliance having at least two separately switchable or combined switchable heating elements has a thermal cutout preventing overheating of the glass ceramic surface. A single temperature sensor acts on the thermal cutout and the sensor is subject to the influence of all the heating means elements. To ensure that the operating temperature of the glass ceramic hotplate is as close as possible to the permitted permanent operating temperature, the cutout operating temperature is detuned as a function of the nature and number of heating elements switched on in order to compensate for different thermal influences.The temperature sensor can be an expansion sensor acting on a plurality of switches with different operating temperatures. Upon operating the heating elements a different switch is connected in series in each case to the individual heating elements.
