    摘要: In a temperature limiter (1) with a rod-like temperature sensor (6), the outer tube is formed by a continuously tensile-stressed insulating tube (7) extending into a base (2). An inner rod (8), optionally articulated two or more times in the longitudinal direction, is constructed as a continuously pressure-loaded rod, characterized by temperature-dependent length expansion. The temperature limiter (1), e.g., for a glass ceramic unit, may have a circuit breaker (5) closer to the temperature sensor, and a more-remote signal switch (4). In that case, for operating the remote signal switch, a flat bar-like transfer member (9) traverses both switches through openings (54). The transfer member is coupled at the associated end and in adjustable manner with an operating member (30) for the signal switch (4), receiving the adjustment member (34). The parts are constantly held together in clearance-free manner by the tension of a restoring spring (40).

    摘要: In a thermal cut-out for a heating means, e.g. a glass ceramic cooking unit, a signal switch and a circuit breaker are operated by means of a temperature sensor via a transfer member externally surrounding the switches and whereof the actuating member thereof located further from the temperature sensor is formed by an adjusting member, so that with the latter and also an adjusting member directly associated with the temperature sensor, a very precise setting is made possible. The transfer member is suspended in contact-free manner between oppositely acting springs and is therefore mounted in a substantially frictionless manner.

    摘要: A mechanism for mounting a control device on an implement shield defining a shield plane, the control device having a body formed with slots, the mechanism comprising: the shield having a guide with guidance projections slidably interengageable with the slots on the body of the control device, the guidance projections and slots being connectable to one another by relative movement parallel to the shield plane; the shield having at least one positioning stop forming an abutment against the connecting movement; and, the shield having at least one stop spring for resiliently urging the body against the at least one positioning stop after the connecting movement, whereby the control device is securely positioned on the shield. When the control device is to be mounted in a cutout in the shield, the guidance projections, the at least one positioning stop and the at least one stop spring are shaped from material of the shield bounding the cutout. The guidance projections are preferably straps of L-shaped cross-section, projecting firstly from the shield towards the interior of the implement and then toward one another, engaging in the slots in the body of the control device. In an alternative embodiment, the mechanism may further comprise a sheet metal plate covering the front surface of the body, having bent edges for engaging in the slots in the body, having threaded or plug-receiving retainers and having a securing slot for the setting shaft of the control device.

    摘要: On the one hand is provided an electric heating element (15, 31) consisting of a semiconducting ceramic (28, 32) as well as a method for its production. The semiconducting ceramic material may be porous or foamed to thus contain pores (29, 34) open outwardly. The pores are attainable by admixing filler bodies, which dissolve during sintering, to the starting material or by impreganting a textile substrate material (36) with a ceramic material. Due to the porosity of the heating element (15, 31) an increased radiant surface area is attained. On the other hand is provided an electric heating element (115, 132, 145, 150, 158, 160, 162) as well as a method for its production which consists of semiconducting ceramic and comprises a negative temperature coefficient of the electrical resistance. The temperature coefficient is negative throughout over the full operating temperature range. The material suitable for the heating element (115, 132, 145, 150, 158, 160, 162) is doped silicon carbide or TiN. One such heating element (115, 132, 145, 150, 158, 160, 162) may be put to use, for example, rod-shaped in a radiant heater body (111) or foil-shaped at the underside of a surface element (30) of a cooktop (31). The electric conductivity of the material of the heating element (115, 132, 145, 150, 158, 160, 162) can be adjusted by nitrogen absorption during annealing in a nitrogen atmosphere subsequent to the sintering process.

The thickness or wire thickness of the single conductors for a conventional frequency between 20 and 30 kHz (25 kHz), is approximately 0.2 mm. This limited wire thickness has proved to be particularly low-loss. The arrangement of the induction cooking point comprises a thermal insulation placed below a plate for receiving cooking vessels, a shield with branched, grounded line structures and a disk-like induction coil, which is back-connected on the underside by a ferrite yoke plate.
