摘要: A method for analyzing the operation of a microprocessor connected to a system to be tested and a plurality of buses includes the following steps. From the information concerning bus signal states and instruction execution, only information for cases other than interrupt routine processes and subroutine processes is selected, and the selected information is stored into a memory device, and then an analysis of the operation of the microprocessor on the basis of the selected and stored information is carried out. Alternatively, from the information concerning bus signal states and instruction execution, only information for cases other than executions of a stack pointer changing instructions and interrupt response processes is selected, and the selected information is stored into a memory device, and then an analysis of operation of the microprocessor on the basis of the selected and stored information is carried out. Apparatuses for these methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A method and system for measuring quantities of electricity or magnetism by use of two light beams of different wavelengths and prescribed relative intensities. Emitted by respective light sources, the two beams are combined as by an interference filter to travel through a common optical fiber to a modulator station, where the beams are first plane polarized. The plane-polarized beams enter an optical modulator, therein to be modulated by the Pockels or Faraday effect in accordance with an electric or magnetic quantity to be measured. Then, after passing a quarter-wave plate as required, the modulated beams fall on a wavelength-dependent, selective polarizing filter, which polarizes only one of the incident beams into an intensity-modulated beam and which passes the other as a non-intensity-modulated beam. The beams are again sent over a common optical fiber to a beam splitter, which separates the beams from each other. Placed after the beam splitter, two photodetectors sense the intensities of the separated intensity- and non-intensity-modulated beams respectively. The electric or magnetic quantity is calculated, as by a digital computer, from the relative intensities of the intensity- and non-intensity-modulated beams falling on the photodetectors and the relative intensities of the beams as emitted by the light sources.

摘要: An amplifier system having a first pair of transistors connected between a pair of differential input terminals and a pair of differential output terminals, and a second pair of transistors having emitters connected to the respective input terminals and having collectors connected to a bias source. For a linear change in current gain a collector current sensing circuit is provided which puts out a voltage representative of the sum of the collector currents of either the first or second pair of transistors. This voltage is delivered to an input of a differential feedback amplifier, to another input of which is applied a variable gain control voltage. The differential amplifier delivers its output voltage, proportional to the difference between the two input voltages, to the bases of either the first or second pair of transistors. With the two input voltages of the differential amplifier thus made equal to each other, the current gain of the amplifier can be changed linearly with the gain control voltage.

摘要: The electron beam emanated by a single electron gun falls, after traversing two successive quadrupolar electron lenses, on a beam separator electrode having a pair of vertically spaced apertures formed therethrough for permitting the passage of fractions of the incident beam as two separate beams for dual image display. Subsequently deflected vertically by respective pairs of vertical deflection plates, the two display beams follow their trajectories to a target screen through a focus corrector device, a third quadrupolar electron lens, a pair of horizontal deflection plates, and a dome-shaped scan expansion mesh. Were it not for the focus corrector device, the spots of the display beams on the screen would differ in size according to whether they were deflected upwardly or downwardly by the vertical deflection plate pairs disposed respectively above and below the tube axis. Comprising four plates arranged in boxlike configuration with insulating gaps therebetween, the focus corrector device functions to compensate for spot size variations in the vertical direction.

摘要: A copying machine comprises an imaging mechanism and a recording mechanism. An imaging sub-scan carriage of the imaging mechanism is scanned in the sub-scanning direction between an imaging start position and an intermediate position to image a master. The recording mechanism includes a recording medium such as a recording drum and a recording sub-scan carriage. The recording medium rotates in the main scanning direction while the recording sub-scan carriage scans in the sub-scanning direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction. When the imaging sub-scan carriage is scanning for one line, the recording sub-scan carriage is also scanning for one line, during which the recording medium performs one main scan so that a latent image of one line of the master can be formed on the recording medium. In response to the first sub-scan of the imaging sub-scan carriage between start and intermediate positions, the recording sub-scan carriage conducts the sub-scan between start and intermediate positions in relation to the recording medium. In response to the subsequent sub-scan of the imaging sub-scan carriage between start and intermediate positions, the recording sub-scan carriage conducts the sub-scan between intermediate and termination positions, so that a TWIN-COPY latent image of the master which is imaged by the imaging sub-scan carriage can be formed on the recording medium.
