    摘要: Circuitry, which includes a PA power supply and RF PA circuitry, is disclosed. The RF PA circuitry includes a group of RF PAs and a group of PA decoupling circuits. The group of RF PAs includes a first RF PA and a second RF PA. The group of PA decoupling circuits includes a first PA decoupling circuit and a second PA decoupling circuit. The PA power supply provides a first PA power supply output signal to at least one of the group of RF PAs and to at least one of the group of PA decoupling circuits. The first PA decoupling circuit is coupled across the first RF PA, is programmable, and at least partially decouples the first RF PA from other circuitry. The second PA decoupling circuit is coupled across the second RF PA and at least partially decouples the second RF PA from other circuitry.

One aspect of the invention includes a hearing aid. The hearing aid includes a microphone to receive an input signal, a speaker to reproduce the input signal, and a processor. The processor processes the input signal using a gain. The processor includes an inhibitor, which inhibits distortions, and an adjuster, which adjusts the gain. The inhibitor acts to smooth an envelope of the input signal to inhibit undesired modulation. The adjuster adjusts the gain if the envelope is either above or below a threshold.

    摘要: An amplifier may include two or more pulse-width modulators controlling respective sets of switches to produce an amplified version of a source signal. A positive DC-offset based on the source signal may be applied to the pulse-width modulator controlling one respective set of switches, and an equal value negative DC-offset may be applied to the pulse-width modulator controlling the other respective set of switches, to provide an effective offset between the respective points in time of the rising/falling edges of the different pulse-width modulated control signals. The addition of alternating positive and negative DC-offset values doesn't affect the output load, and doesn't degrade the signal. The DC-offsets may be added at a frequency selected to be beyond the signal baseband, and the value of the small input signal level may be determined using an RMS level comparator or similar measurement technique.

    摘要: An adjustable gain audio power amplifying circuit includes an input unit, an audio amplifying unit connected to the input unit, a gain adjusting unit connected to the audio amplifying unit, a controlling unit connected to the gain adjusting unit, a comparing unit connected between the gain adjusting unit and the controlling unit and an output unit connected to the audio amplifying unit. The comparing unit compares an outputted signal of the output unit with a common-mode reference voltage, outputs a gain adjustment controlling signal and sends the gain adjustment controlling signal into the controlling unit. When the outputted signal equals the common-mode reference voltage, the gain adjustment controlling signal turns over and then the controlling unit detects the turnover and sends a received gain adjustment signal into the gain adjusting unit. Based on the received gain adjustment signal, the gain adjusting unit controls gains of the adjustable gain audio power amplifying circuit.
