摘要: According to one embodiment, a three-dimensional map estimation apparatus includes a processor that selects an imaging apparatus from a plurality of imaging apparatuses and then estimates a position and orientation for a moving object on which the selected imaging apparatus is mounted based on images captured by the selected imaging apparatus. The processor outputs a first position and orientation estimation result for the moving object based on images from selected imaging apparatuses. The processor calculates a second position and orientation estimation result indicating an estimated position and orientation for the moving object using the first position and orientation estimation result. The processor estimates a three-dimensional map for the surroundings of the moving object based on the second position and orientation estimation result.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a magnetic disk device includes a memory and a controller. The memory stores, for a predetermined track on a magnetic disk in the device, a counter, a counter threshold, and weights. The weights are individually set for divided areas of the predetermined track. The weights each have magnitude inversely proportional to a guaranteed number of times of data readout. When writing to an adjacent track of one or more of the divided areas is executed, the controller multiplies a number of times of writing by the weight corresponding to the one or more of the divided areas and adds the number of times of writing to the counter. When a numerical value of the counter reaches the counter threshold, the controller executes refresh to rewrite data in the predetermined track or executes reading for determining whether or not to perform the refresh.

摘要: A calculation apparatus according to an embodiment includes matrix multiplication circuitry, time evolution circuitry, management circuitry, and output circuitry. The matrix multiplication circuitry calculates N second intermediate variables at a first time point by matrix multiplication between N (N>=2) first intermediate variables at the first time point and a preset coefficient matrix in N rows and N columns. The time evolution circuitry calculates N first variables at a second time point and N first intermediate variables at the second time point, the second time point being a time point following one sampling period after the first time point. The management circuitry increments time point from a start time point for each sampling period and controls the above circuitry to perform a process for each time point. The output circuitry outputs N first variables at a preset end time point.

摘要: An optical repeater has signal processors which detect switching between uplink and downlink signals of a first group of connected base stations. A multiplexer/demultiplexer unit is between the signal processors and a first plurality of remote wireless units. A timing comparator acquires signal switching times for the first group of base stations, calculates adjustments for synchronizing the switching transmission of a downlink signal to a remote unit based on both internal switching times and external switching times for a second group of base stations connected to another optical repeater. A monitoring controller acquires detected delay amounts for a first plurality of remote units, and calculates timing adjustments for synchronizing transmissions from the first group of remote units and another group of remote units connected to the other optical repeater based on the detected delay amounts and information from the other optical repeater.
