    Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which effectively suppresses the occurrence of localized contact caused by deformation of a fixed scroll or a movable scroll due to the influence of a compressive reaction force or thermal expansion and shortens a break-in time. [Solution] Laps 24 and 32 of a fixed scroll 21 and a movable scroll 22 are constituted to have a plurality of step portions between a winding end portion at an outermost periphery and a winding start portion at an innermost periphery and decrease stepwise in height toward the winding start portion from the winding end portion. The position and height of each step portion are set so that when the spiral laps 24 and 32 are expanded on a predetermined plane, a base point of each step portion is placed on a predetermined arc drawn on the plane.

    Abstract: A spool operation failure due to foreign matter contamination is prevented. A variable displacement compressor 100 includes a first control valve 300 controlling the opening degree of a supply passage 145, a check valve 350, a second control valve 400 controlling the opening degree of a discharge passage 146, and a back-pressure relief passage 147. The second control valve 400 includes a back pressure chamber 410 communicating with an intermediate supply passage 145b1, a valve chamber 420 to which a valve hole 103d and a discharge hole 431a are open and that constitutes a part of the discharge passage 146, a partition member 430 partitioning into the back pressure chamber 410 and the valve chamber 420, and a spool 440 extending through a through hole 432a formed in the partition member 430. The spool 440 has a pressure receiving portion 441 disposed in the back pressure chamber 410, a valve portion 442 disposed in the valve chamber 420, and a shaft portion 443. The spool 440 is supported in a manner slidable in the opening and closing directions on the partition member 430 by arranging the spool valve 440a, constituted by the valve portion 442 and the shaft portion 443, to be in contact with the partition member 430.

    Abstract: Provided is a variable displacement compressor that is directed to cost reduction and productivity enhancement of a second control valve that adjusts an opening degree of a discharge passage for discharging a refrigerant in a controlled pressure chamber to a suction chamber. The variable displacement compressor includes the second control valve (400) configured to decrease an opening degree of the discharge passage to a minimum value when a first end surface (421a) of a valve body (420) accommodated in a valve chamber (410) comes into contact with a first end wall surface (411) of the valve chamber (410) to close a second port (432) and a third port (433), and configured to increase the opening degree of the discharge passage to a maximum value when the first end surface (421a) of the valve body (420) separates from the first end wall surface (411) of the valve chamber (410) to open the second port (432) and the third port (433). The valve body (420) is supported movably in a direction perpendicular to the first end wall surface (411) without contact with a peripheral wall surface (413) of the valve chamber (410), by a guide shaft portion (415a) being slidably inserted into a receiving portion (423) formed at a radially center portion of the valve body (420).

    Abstract: Provided is a motor control device having a function for determining a rotor position of a synchronous motor, without use of a sensor, the device prevents obtaining an erroneous rotor position, to enable stable control of the synchronous motor based on the rotor position in both the normal-control region and the flux-weakening-control region. The motor control device 1 includes: a first rotor position determining unit 19 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on an induced voltage electrical angle, and a first induced voltage phase obtained from a current peak value and a difference between the induced voltage electrical angle and a current electrical angle; a second rotor position determining unit 20 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on an induced voltage electrical angle, and a second induced voltage phase obtained from a flux linkage and a current peak value; and a selecting unit 21 that selects the first rotor position determining unit 19 or the second rotor position determining unit 20, based on a current peak value, and a first induced voltage phase or a second induced voltage phase.

    Abstract: An electric compressor is provided in which the connection strength between lead terminals from a motor and an inverter circuit section is improved. The electric compressor 1 is constituted by electrically connecting lead terminals 24 to 26 of a motor and an inverter circuit section 3 for supplying power to the motor by a motor side connection terminal 28. The inverter circuit section 3 is protrusively provided with terminal connection portions 19 to 21 each having a screw groove portion. The motor side connection terminal 28 has a flat plate terminal portion. The flat plate terminal portion is fixed to the inverter circuit section 3 by a nut 91 screwed into each of the screw groove portions of the terminal connection portions 19 to 21 and electrically connected to the inverter circuit section 3 in that state.

    Abstract: There is provided an electric compressor in which the connection strength between an inverter circuit section and an electrical circuit section connected thereto by a connection terminal is improved. An inverter circuit section (3) includes an inverter control board (17) and a resin-molded sleeve assembly (18). In the sleeve assembly, a sleeve (32) and a terminal connection portion (23) are integrally resin-molded in a state in which a screw groove portion is protruded. The inverter control board (17) and a filter side connection terminal (71) of a filter circuit section (4) are fastened together to the terminal connection portion with a nut (92) screwed into the screw groove portion, whereby the inverter control board 17 and the filter circuit section 4 are electrically connected.
