Abstract:
A transfer belt driving control method and transfer belt driving control apparatus for color registration correction. The color registration correction method and apparatus performs the color registration correction by setting a pattern forming section, in which patterns for the color registration correction are able to be formed, and a non-pattern forming section, in which the patterns are not able to be formed, on a transfer belt in which the patterns are formed, performing the color registration correction by driving the transfer belt at a first speed in the pattern forming section, and driving the transfer belt at a second speed, which is faster than the first speed, in the non-pattern forming section.
Abstract:
A charge trap flash memory device includes a flash memory array having at least a first page of charge trap memory cells therein electrically coupled to a first word line. The first page of charge trap memory cells includes a plurality of addressable memory cells configured to store data to be retrieved during read operations and a plurality of immediately adjacent non-addressable “dummy” memory cells configured to store dummy data that is not retrievable during the read operations. The plurality of dummy memory cells include at least one auxiliary dummy memory cell that operates as a buffer against lateral hole transfer within a charge trap layer of the array.
Abstract:
A method of operating a phase change random access memory (PRAM) device comprises performing a program operation to store data in selected PRAM cells of the device, wherein the program operation comprises a plurality of sequential program loops. The method further comprises suspending the program operation in the middle of the program operation, and after suspending the program operation, resuming the program operation in response to a resume command.
Abstract:
An integrated circuit device having multiple communication modes is provided. The integrated circuit device includes a transceiver coupled to first and second data lines. The integrated circuit device further includes a voltage control circuit. The voltage control circuit determines whether or not an external device is connected to the integrated circuit device. In the case where the external device is connected to the integrated circuit device, the voltage control circuit controls the voltage of the first data line so as to cause the external device to not recognize the integrated circuit device for a predetermined time.
Abstract:
Provided is a content reproduction apparatus and a method for displaying a GUI screen thereof. The content reproduction apparatus of the present invention comprises a nonvolatile memory unit for storing lookup tables which are used for generating a GUI screen to be displayed on the external output apparatus; a lookup table adjusting unit for adjusting a color range of colors used in the lookup table; and a controlling unit for generating the GUI screen by using the adjusted lookup table on which the adjusted color range is applied, and for transmitting the GUI screen to the external output apparatus.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an encryption code for encrypting data to be transmitted or received during short-distance communication, namely, an encryption key generator for generating an encryption key, in order to transmit the encryption key to an integrated mobile communication terminal and a service terminal during short-distance secure communication. The two terminals encrypt data using the encryption key and receive or transmit the data, thereby implementing authentication and secure communication.
Abstract:
A fuel supply device for direct methanol fuel cells. The fuel supply device for direct methanol fuel cells includes a fuel tank to store a liquid fuel, a cavity plate to store the liquid fuel transferred from the fuel tank, a thin film type active pump welded on the bottom of the cavity plate to bring about a movement of the cavity plate, and a nozzle plate disposed on the cavity plate to eject the liquid fuel. Accordingly, it is possible to actively control a liquid fuel in a needed amount and supply it to a fuel cell in accordance with a use mode of an electronic device and effectively remove by-products of the fuel cell, thereby improving the efficiency of the fuel cell.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a receiver of modulated signals comprises a signal sampling unit configured to sample a signal, a zero-crossing demodulator, and a timing offset tracking unit. The zero-crossing demodulator includes: a zero-crossing counter configured to determine a number of zero crossings for each pulse of the signal, and a symbol selector configured to decode a sequence of pulses as a symbol based on the number of zero crossings in the sequence of pulses. The timing offset tracking unit is configured to: calculate a metric based on an accumulation of the number of zero crossings and corresponding pulse values of the decoded symbol, compare the metric to a predetermined threshold value, and compensate a timing offset of the signal by causing the signal sampling unit to sample the signal at an earlier interval or a later interval in response to the comparison.
