摘要: To provide a small-sized solenoid-driven flow-regulating expansion valve which can be realized at low cost. In a flow-regulating expansion valve according to the present invention, a pipe forming a body thereof not only accommodates internal structures, such as a flow-regulating mechanism, a movable core, and a fixed core, but also serves as a part of piping of a refrigeration cycle. Further, a solenoid section including a solenoid coil is disposed outside the pipe in a manner surrounding the same. Therefore, substantial integration of the flow-regulating mechanism in the piping of the refrigeration cycle can be achieved, which makes the entire flow-regulating expansion valve very simple in construction. As a result, reduction of the size of the flow-regulating expansion valve and resultant reduction of material costs and manufacturing costs can be achieved, which makes it possible to achieve low costs of the flow-regulating expansion valve.

摘要: To provide an expansion device that is configured compact in size and capable of effectively preventing an abnormal rise in pressure within the expansion device caused by the differential pressure across the expansion device. An expansion device according to the present invention cancels part of refrigerant pressure by a pressure-canceling structure. More specifically, by the amount of pressure received by a valve-closing pressure-receiving surface, the elastic force required of a spring can be reduced. As a result, a small-sized spring can be employed as the spring, and the entire expansion device can be made compact in construction. Further, when the differential pressure across the expansion device has become equal to or higher than a predetermined value, a relief mechanism enables refrigerant flowing in from the upstream side to escape into a passage other than a refrigerant passage through a valve element. This makes is possible to prevent an abnormal rise in the refrigerant pressure inside the expansion device, thereby preventing breakage or the like of the internal components.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a three-way valve reduced in the number of component parts and man-hours for assembling the component parts. A pressure chamber of a piston for urging a first main valve in a valve-closing direction by a spring, and a pressure chamber of a piston for urging a second main valve in a valve-opening direction against the urging force of a spring are connected to a medium-pressure port B via a pilot valve and a pressure passage. When the pilot valve is open, the pressure in the pressure chambers into which high-pressure fluid is introduced from a high-pressure port A via an orifice is permitted to escape to the medium-pressure port B, whereby the piston is pushed upward by the high pressure to open the first main valve, and a plug is urged by the spring to close the second main valve. When the pilot valve is closed, the pressure in the pressure chambers becomes high, so that the piston is pushed downward by the spring to close the first main valve, and the piston is pushed downward by the high pressure to open the second main valve. Since the pilot valve is formed by a two-way solenoid valve, and the pressure passage is formed within a body, it is possible to reduce the number of component parts.

摘要: To provide an outflow prevention device which is capable of preventing refrigerant from flowing out into a vehicle compartment even when an evaporator has ruptured. The outflow prevention device comprises a shut valve arranged in a passage via which refrigerant introduced into a shut valve inlet from an expansion device is allowed to flow to the evaporator, and a check valve arranged in a passage via which refrigerant returned from the evaporator is allowed to flow to an accumulator. A chamber behind a piston fixed to a plug holding a valve sheet and a chamber on a downstream side of the check valve are communicated with each other via a bypass passage, so that differential pressure generated across the check valve by flow of refrigerant through the same can be applied to the shut valve to open and close the same. The valve sheet and the piston are formed to have the same diameters so as to prevent the shut valve from being influenced by introduced pressure, thereby enabling the shut valve to be operated only by the differential pressure generated across the check valve.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a capacity control valve for a variable displacement compressor, which is not adversely affected by pressure from a pressure-regulating chamber. A three-way valve structure is formed in which a high-pressure valve element and a low-pressure valve element are integrally formed at both ends, and valve seats with valve holes having the same diameter are arranged in a manner opposed to the respective valve elements. A discharges pressure is supplied from the upstream side of the valve seat, and a suction pressure is supplied from the downstream side of the valve seat. Pressures from a pressure-regulating chamber are received at the downstream side of the high-pressure valve element and the upstream side of the low-pressure valve element. Further, a solenoid is included for applying a load corresponding to a differential pressure at which the variable displacement compressor starts capacity control, to the high-pressure valve element and the low-pressure valve element, by a shaft via a valve hole of the valve seat. The valve holes are formed to have the same diameter, whereby it is possible to cancel out the pressures from the pressure-regulating chamber and perform capacity control only in response to the differential pressure between the discharge pressure a and the suction pressure.

A pressure sensor is screwed into an opening of a body block, which communicates with a space accommodating a valve element and a compression coil spring for urging the valve element toward a valve seat. A set value for an expansion valve is adjusted by changing the amount of screwing of the pressure sensor to thereby change the load of the compression coil spring. An adjusting screw for adjusting the set value for the expansion valve can be dispensed with, which makes it possible to reduce the manufacturing costs of the expansion valve.

摘要: A four-way switching valve free from leakage of a refrigerant. A pressure-regulating chamber is switchably connected to a low-pressure chamber or a high-pressure chamber by a three-way solenoid valve, and a pressure-regulating chamber is communicated with a chamber by a tube. When the three-way solenoid valve connects the pressure-regulating chamber to the low-pressure chamber, a plug is urged by the high pressure, thereby permitting port A and a port B to communicate with each other, while inhibiting the port B and a port D from communicating with each other. The pressure within the chamber is increased to thereby increase the pressure within the pressure-regulating chamber. Consequently, a plug is urged by a piston to thereby inhibit the port A and a port C from communicating with each other, and permitting the port C and the port D to communicate with each other. Inversely, when the three-way solenoid valve connects the pressure-regulating chamber to the high-pressure chamber, the plug is urged by a piston to thereby inhibit the port A and the port B from communicating with each other, and permitting the port B and the port D to communicate with each other. The pressure within the chamber is reduced to thereby reduce the pressure within the pressure-regulating chamber. Consequently, the plug is urged by the high pressure to thereby permitting the port A and the port C to communicate with each other, while inhibiting the port C and the port D from communicating with each other. This makes it unnecessary to cause leakage of the refrigerant to reduce pressures within the pressure-regulating chambers.
