    摘要: A layout which is practically useful for playing tic-tac-toe (TTT) in four dimensions is disclosed. The layout consists of an array of tiles, each tile containing a 5×5 array of substantially square cells, where the tiles are arrayed in a 5×5 pattern. For ease of visual interpretation, the tiles are preferably separated by approximately the width of a cell. The layout is implemented physically or as an electronic program coupled to a display. The rules are analogous to classical TTT; two variants are described.

    摘要: A device provides temporal and spatial 3-D patterns with a plurality of elements. The shape, position and orientation of the elements are controlled by a computer. The medium in which the elements lie provide movement of the elements without effects of vibration or turbulence. In a particular medium elements movements are dampened such that a quick change in position and/or orientation of an element is without apparent vibration. The medium and elements are of respective materials such that noise is eliminated. Iron powder elements on a surface are repositionable and reorientable in a desired temporal and spatial pattern through computer controlled changes to a generated magnetic field. Different sized bubbles are generated in a desired temporal and spatial pattern in a tank of glycerin through computer controlled air valves. The computer control is preprogrammed or in response to user operation of an input device.

The method includes generating, via a computer processor, a gaming interface having a guessed word list and a letter selector. The method further includes providing logic, by operation of the computer processor, to facilitate the play of at least one round of the word game. A round of the word game includes a turn for each of the one or more players. A turn includes, on the first round, receiving a secret word via the letter selector and receiving a guessed word via the letter selector. The turn also includes determining a number of letters in the guessed word which also appear in the secret word. The turn further includes providing the guessed word and the number of letters for display via the guessed word list.
