Annular discs 4 are fitted to a shaft 2 by means of spokes 3; in this case, the annular discs 4 are corrugated in the axial direction, and annular discs 4 and spokes 3, together with the shaft 2 carrying them, kinematically clean the annular discs 4', spokes 3' and the adjacent shaft 2' carrying the latter. At all times, the housing 1 is kinematically cleaned by the annular discs 4,4' and spokes 3,3' in the course of rotation of the shafts 2,2'.

    摘要： A mixing system is provided for mixing and dispensing measured volumes of kneaded material. The system includes an adjustable frame, top and side feeder assemblies, a cutter assembly. The top feeder assembly is secured to the frame and maintains a supply of raw kneadable material and minor ingredients to the side feeder assembly. The side feeder assembly includes an input housing, receiving raw material from the top feeder assembly and a preblender housing in communication with the input housing. A pair of oppositely rotating helical screws are disposed within the input and preblender housings for transporting the kneadable material to the kneader cylinder. The input and preblender housings are detachably connected to one another and slidably mounted on the frame, for selective movement between operating and cleaning positions. The preblender housing is also rotatably mounted on the frame, which further facilitates cleaning the unit. The cutter assembly includes a blade assembly which is selectively activated based on the volume of material entering a cutter housing from the kneader cylinder. A knife blade rotates in a circular motion so as to periodically sever a desired volume of kneaded material. The blade rotates away from the stream of material to a safety position between cuts. The system incorporates several safety features which disengage an electric motor used to drive the blade assembly upon detection of various conditions.

    摘要： A diffuser apparatus for use in a sewage installation includes an elongated, one-piece body of substantially tubular outline in vertical section having a top wall, spaced sidewalls and a bottom wall. An end cap provides a closure for closing each end of the body above the region of the bottom wall to provide a flow path for liquid into and out of a chamber within said body. A plurality of ports are located along each sidewall and a nozzle extends either through one end cap of the topwall for connecting the chamber to a source of compressed air. The flow path for liquid allows debris to flush clear of the chamber. The flow path, in the event that the ports become clogged, provides a distinct bubble pattern at the surface of the liquid during aeration.

    摘要： A continuous self-cleaning filter for liquids has an outer resonant tube concentrically mounted around an inner composite tube in spaced relationship providing an annular chamber between them. There is an inflow at one end of the annular chamber for the liquid and an outflow at the other end for residual concentrate. The inner composite tube has an outlet at one end for clear effluent and a closed opposite end. A relatively thin walled perforate liner enveloped in a filter blanket comprises the composite tube. For constantly cleaning the filter blanket a sonic sinusoidal wave inducing transducer is affixed to the exterior wall of the outer resonant tube at an antinodal point, thereby to excite the outer tube into a state of resonance, thereby to continuously transform the liquid to be filtered within the annular chamber into a state of intense vaporous cavitation energy thereby to implode the surfaces of the filter blanket material causing the contamination and build up residue to be continuously removed and returned to concentrate flow within the annular chamber.
