    摘要: A vehicle closure has a power operated compartment latch that includes a stop lever and an eccentric roller on an electric motor driven wheel. The stop lever is moved to a by-pass position automatically cocking the compartment latch when the compartment latch is latched. The eccentric roller then by-passes the stop lever and unlatches the compartment latch when the electric motor is energized. The stop lever is moved to a stop position when the compartment latch is unlatched to automatically reset the compartment latch.

    摘要: The invention comprises a method for operating a door hold-open device and a device for carrying out the method. A door hold-open device which unlatches a held door based upon the occurrence of an unlatch condition includes a door latching mechanism, a signal processing circuit having a power source. The method consists of the steps preventing the signal processing mechanism from consuming electrical current, upon occurrence of an unlatch condition, generating a unlatch condition signal and providing electrical current to the signal processing mechanism to power it, determining the continued existence of the unlatch condition signal with the signal processing mechanism and upon determination of the continued existence of the unlatch condition signal with the signal processing mechanism, transmitting an electrical unlatch signal to the door latching mechanism. A device capable of carrying out these steps includes door latching mechanism, a signal processing circuit such as a microprocessor having data input and output ports, a power source mechanism, the data output port being operatively connected to the door latching mechanism to enable unlatching of the door latching mechanism, a switch mechanism for selectively providing an electrical power supply to the signal processing circuit power source, and an unlatch condition signal mechanism connected to the signal processing mechanism data input port and to the switch mechanism, whereby upon generation of an unlatch condition signal, the switch mechanism provides power to the power source of the signal processing mechanism.

    摘要: A lock which is adapted to transduce the code from a key by electronic means is constructed to resemble the form and functionality of a conventional mechanical cylinder lock. A main casing houses the bolt, a rotatable thrower or cam for retracting the bolt, an electromechanical release mechanism which normally blocks rotation of the thrower, and a processor to control the release mechanism in response to the detected key code. The electronic reading means are located in association with the keyway of a rotatable barrel in a cylinder unit manufactured as a separate unit from the main casing. The thrower and barrel have respective cooperating mechanical couplings and the main casing and cylinder unit have respective cooperating electrical connectors. The lock is therefore assembled by attaching the cylinder unit to the outside of the main casing, thus establishing a rotary driving connection from the barrel to the thrower and establishing an electrical connection from the key reader to the processor.

    摘要: An entry/exit detection locking device includes a knob axle of a lock and an engaging and holding unit and a retention unit. The knob axle includes upper and lower rotary axles each formed with a notch. The engaging and holding unit is arranged at one side of the knob axle. The retention unit is arranged below the knob axle. The retention unit is connected through a control circuit to a card reader at an outdoor side. Through adjustment, the engaging and holding unit is set in engagement with the notch of the upper rotary axle or the notch of the lower rotary axle to achieve a locked state for exit or entry. Rotating the knob axle for entry or exit triggers the retention unit to make a record of the exit or entry. The engaging and holding unit is connected to the card reader to enable unlocking through card swiping.

The container has an interior and a barrier having an open position allowing access to the interior of the container and a closed position blocking access to the interior of the container. The locking system includes a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature within the container; a locking device coupled to the barrier to lock the barrier in the closed position; and a controller in communication with the locking device and the temperature sensor. The controller receives the sensed temperature from the temperature sensor and controls the locking device based on the sensed temperature. The controller is configured to control the locking device to lock the barrier in the closed position when the sensed temperature rises above a predetermined threshold temperature.
