    摘要: A fluid pressure device including a housing (13) defining a high pressure port (31) and a low pressure port (33). The housing defines a shuttle bore (35) and disposed therein is a shuttle valve assembly (51) including a shuttle spool (63). The shuttle spool (63) defines a fluid passage (87) disposed to provide fluid communication from the low pressure chamber (57) to the shuttle outlet port (85) as the shuttle spool moves from its neutral position (FIG. 2) to the end of its centered range of positions (FIG. 3). The low pressure fluid from the chamber (57) is communicated through the fluid passage (87) and acts on a shuttle poppet member (75), aiding the shuttle spool (63) and its shoulder (67) and unseating (opening) the poppet member (75), thus reducing the fluid pressure in the high pressure chamber (55) required to begin opening the shuttle valve assembly (51). Thus, diversion of fluid, for cooling or lubrication, will occur over a greater range of device operating pressures, minimizing the chance for damage to system components.

    摘要: A fluid control apparatus comprising a manifold and one or more valve assemblies adapted to be mounted on the manifold for controlling the flow of a pressure fluid. The manifold has a pair of main flow passages associated therewith, one being a supply passage and the other being a discharge or exhaust passage. A pair of load ports is provided in the manifold, and a set of openings is formed in one face of the manifold for cooperation with a valve assembly, which openings provide communication between the load ports and the main flow passages through the valve assembly. The openings in the manifold cooperate with further openings in the valve assembly so as to permit the valve assembly to be mounted on the manifold in a selected one of two different positions, in which positions the valve assembly cooperates with the same set of openings in the manifold but results in the valve assembly functioning as a normally open or a normally closed valve. The same set of manifold openings also permits a four-way valve assembly to be mounted on the manifold.

    摘要: An electromagnetic valve has a valve member which is a core movable within a winding. The core remains deep in the winding and is spaced laterally from the interior of the winding and has a beveled seat where it emerges from the winding that engages with a beveled surface on the winding to locate the core in a closed position. The core has resilient valve seats at opposite ends to permit fluid switching, as in a logic circuit, with low amplitude of movement and with high sensitivity.
