    摘要: An engine crankshaft includes a split crankshaft journal that includes offset connecting rod journals for two connecting rods. Oil supply systems disposed on opposite axial sides of the crankshaft journal each lubricate a corresponding one of the connecting rod journals. The oil supply systems are either axial or peripheral oil supply systems that do not require oil to be supplied to the crankshaft through the main crankcase bearings. Consequently, the oil supply systems sufficiently lubricate each connecting rod journal without requiring weakening holes or grooves in the main crankcase bearings.

    摘要: A crankshaft for an internal-combustion engine has crankshaft webs provided with recesses. The recesses are molded into the crankshaft webs in each case symmetrically with respect to a vertical longitudinal center plane oppositely within a clear outer contour of the crankshaft webs. In the area of the recesses, the sections are constructed as a U-shaped profile with side legs. Between the recesses of the crankshaft webs arranged above one another, a reinforcing rib is arranged in the overlapping area of the crank pin and the journal. As a result of the recesses in each crankshaft web which are arranged in a targeted manner, a reduction in weight is made possible with effective mass compensation. The recesses are arranged above one another such that in the endangered area of each crankshaft web, a cross-section is built up that is as large as possible and can absorb the flexural and torsional load in a defined manner, despite the maximally large recesses.

    摘要: A crankshaft for a V-6 type of internal combustion engine having longitudinally spaced journals and crank pins connected by a series of nine arms numbered from the front end to the rear end of the crankshaft is provided with counterweights on the first, second fifth, eighth, and ninth arms only. A line between a longitudinal axis of the crankshaft and an axis of a forwardmost crank pin defines, with the longitudinal axis, a reference plane. The centers of gravity of the first and ninth counterweights lie in the reference plane on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis and balance each other. The centers of gravity of the second and eighth counterweights are disposed counterclockwise and clockwise in the same quadrants, respectively, from positions that are 150 degrees and 30 degrees clockwise from the reference plane, when the crankshaft is viewed from the front. Preferably, the centers of gravity of the second and eighth counterweights are located 135 degrees and 45 degrees, respectively, clockwise from the reference plane. The fifth counterweight balances the second and eighth counterweights.

    摘要: A crank shaft for a multi-cylinder, short stroke internal combustion engine in which the diameters of the crank pin and of the shaft journal overlap each other, and in which the crank web decreases in thickness approximately from the center of the crank pin with increasing distance from the shaft center. In the crank webs within the region of the crank pin, relief bores are provided the axes of which are inclined with regard to the axis of said shaft journals. The relief bores are designed as blind bores with a flat bottom surface and with a circumferential surface merging with the flat bottom surface along a rounded surface section. The merging portion nearest to the area of the respective pertaining shaft journal is located approximately in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the crank shaft and approximately in the middle between the crank pin and the shaft journal. With a diameter ratio of the crank pin to the shaft journal of about 0.8, the diameter of the relief bore corresponds to from 0.35 to 0.55 times the diameter of the shaft journal but at a maximum is so great that the overlapping of the respective relief bore with the outer contour of the respective adjacent web is spaced from the shaft axis by a minimum distance of 0.6 times the diameter of the shaft journal and that the respective relief bore is at a minimum spaced from the rounded merging surface section of the crank pin with the respective adjacent web by a distance of approximately 12mm.
