摘要: Edges of layers are detected from an input image to create a boundary line candidate image that represents the detected edges. A luminance value of the input image is differentiated to create a luminance value-differentiated image that represents luminance gradient of the layers. An evaluation score image is created which is obtained by weighting calculation at an optimum ratio between a boundary line position probability image and the luminance value-differentiated image. The boundary line position probability image is obtained from the boundary line candidate image and an existence probability image that represents existence of a boundary line to be extracted. A route having the highest total evaluation score is extracted as the boundary line. According to such an image processing apparatus and image processing method, boundary lines of layers can be extracted with a high degree of accuracy from a captured image of a target object composed of a plurality of layers.

摘要: A parallax calculation apparatus (12) includes an input interface (15) configured to acquire a stereo image including a first image and a second image and a controller (16) configured to calculate parallax by performing sequential matching of a block that is a portion of the second image with the first image while sequentially shifting the block from an initial position in a baseline length direction. The controller (16) varies the pitch at which the block is shifted next in accordance with the shift amount of the block from the initial position.

摘要: A relationship between constituents of a structure is objectively and appropriately assessed. An image analyzing device includes: a Betti number calculating section (42) configured to calculate the numbers of holes from respective plurality of binarized images, after the plurality of binarized images are generated by binarizing a single captured image, which is obtained by capturing a structure, while making binarization reference values differ from each other; a function specifying section (43) configured to specify a characteristic numerical value that characterizes a correspondence between (i) the respective binarization reference values and (ii) the respective numbers of holes; and an output information generating section (44) configured to generate output information corresponding to the characteristic numerical value.

摘要: A computerized method for automatically generating display content includes receiving a uniform resource locator, wherein the uniform resource locator specifies a landing resource and extracting visual information from the landing resource, wherein the visual information defines one or more images, texts, and colors displayed on the landing resource. The method further includes selecting one or more images, one or more text snippets, and one or more colors based on the visual information extracted from the landing resource, generating a layout for a content item based on one or more of the selected images or selected text snippets, and assembling the content item by applying the selected images, the selected text snippets, and the selected colors to the generated layout.

摘要: A method and apparatus for generating charts within a document generation application is provided. The method comprises, within a document generation application, tabular data; associating, for each column and each row of the tabular data, the labels and the numerical data contained therein with one of a plurality of data types; determining, without user input, that the tabular data is one of column-oriented or row-oriented; selecting the first column or the first row as corresponding to an x-axis, respectively; applying a heuristic model resulting in a selection of a chart type of a plurality of chart types, the selection made without user input; automatically generating a chart of the selected chart type depicting a graphical representation of the labels and the numerical data.

摘要: According to an aspect, a system comprises at least one processor, a memory, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions. The stored instructions are executable to cause the at least one processor to: receive a digital image that represents an object scanned by a detection device, determine a region of the digital image that is likely to contain an item, transform the region of the digital image to an embedding, classify, based on the embedding, the region as containing a known class of known item, and responsive to classifying the region as containing the known class of item: generate a graphical representation based on the known class of item.
