    摘要: The present invention is directed to a protective wiring device for use in an electrical distribution system. The device includes a plurality of line terminals and a plurality of load terminals configured to be coupled to the plurality of line terminals in a reset state. A detector circuit is coupled to the plurality of line terminals. The detector circuit is configured to generate a detection signal in response to detecting at least one predefined perturbation in the electrical distribution system. A circuit interrupter assembly is coupled between the plurality of line terminals and the plurality of load terminals. The circuit interrupter assembly is configured to decouple the plurality of line terminals from the plurality of load terminals in response to the detection signal. An end-of-life mechanism is coupled to the detector circuit. The end-of-life mechanism is configured to permanently decouple the plurality of line terminals from the plurality of load terminals in the absence of an intervening signal.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for automated calibration of I/O over a multi-variable eye window is provided. A transmitter may conduct data transmissions to a receiver of an integrated circuit (IC) over a plurality of signal lines. The data transmissions may be conducted according to a certain parameters or sets of parameters. Parameters may include voltage levels at which signals are transmitted or timing delays. The receiver may determine whether the correct data value was received over each signal line. The results may be recorded in a storage mechanism in the same IC as the receiver. The storage mechanism may, for each signal line, store a pass/fail result corresponding to the particular parameters for the data transmission. The system may select the parameters which subsequent transmissions are to be conducted over each of the plurality of signal lines from the storage mechanism.

    摘要: An aircraft flight line electrical distribution system has electrical conductors connected to a power source and a plurality of service cables are connected to the conductors at service points. In order to provide electrical services to individual aircraft each service cable is provided with a connector plug for connection to the aircraft and each connector plug has an electronic power interrupter for interrupting power to the aircraft when the power in the service cable is either or both exceeds or falls short of predetermined levels of power. The power interrupter compares a sensed signal in the power line to a preset control signal. The compared signals are supplied to a logic circuit which then maintains a power contactor in the power supply line in the closed position when the sensed signal is at a predetermined reference level with respect to the control signal.

    摘要: The present invention corresponds to a method and an apparatus for detecting faults in transmission and distribution systems. The method is characterized by the steps of: a) Rectifying the ac current signal of the “auxiliary services” triphasic system; b) Rectifying and inverting the ac current signal of the transmission and distribution system; c) Connecting the step b signal to step a signal; d) Measuring the ac current signal obtained in step b; e) Measuring the dc current signal rectified in step a; f) Scaling the value of the current measured in step e by a scale k factor; g) Calculating the rms value of the signal measured in step d; h) Finding the difference between the values obtained in steps f and g; i) Comparing the absolute value of the step h difference with a reference value m; j) If the comparison made in step i is greater than the reference value m, a trigger signal is generated and the tension is maintained between the dc points of step b in about from 0 to 90%, of the operating tension with no fault. The apparatus comprises, a rectifier; an inverter connected to the rectifier; current measuring means at the rectifier and inverter outlets; and a control unit connected with the rectifier, the inverter and the current measuring means that makes the tripping command of the rectifier and the inverter, and compares the dc current measure at the rectifier outlet with the inverter outlet current, sending a tripping signal according to said comparison.
