Abstract:
An imaging system includes an internal storage unit, a connection unit, a user interface, and a management unit. The internal storage unit is configured for storing a file. The connection unit is configured for connecting the imaging system to an external storage device, and thereby establishing a communication for file transmission therebetween. The user interface is configured for receiving file transmission parameters. The management unit is configured for managing the file transmission, based on the received file transmission parameters.
Abstract:
A multi-function peripheral device includes: a plurality of interfaces that communicate data with an external devices; a power source for supplying the interfaces with power required for the respective interfaces to operate; a monitoring unit that monitors operational statuses of the respective interfaces; a display unit that displays a parameter indicating the operational status of each of the interfaces monitored by the monitoring unit; an input unit that is capable of inputting a command indicating whether or not power is to be supplied from the power source to each of the interfaces; and a power control unit that controls to supply power to an interface for which a command indicating that power is to be supplied is inputted by the input unit, and controls to shut off power to an interface for which a command indicating that power is not to be supplied is inputted by the input unit.
Abstract:
A network configuration file is generated at a host computer and downloaded to a digital camera. This file contains instruction information for communicating with a selected destination via a communications interface. The digital camera includes a “send” button or LCD icon which allows the user to easily transmit one or more images via a wired or wireless communications interface to a desired destination, which among other possibilities may be an Internet Service Provider or a digital photofinishing center. When the user selects this option, the communications port settings, user account specifics, and destination connection commands are read from the network configuration file on the removable memory card. Examples of these settings include serial port baud rate, parity, and stop bits, as well as account name and password.
Abstract:
An illumination device performs illumination light communication, and signals indicative of the luminance of an object illuminated with illumination light and the color temperature of the illumination light are superposed on the illumination light. An electronic camera demodulates the illumination light received by a light-receiving circuit and determines the aperture value and the shutter value depending on luminance information included in the demodulation signal and an imaging sensitivity set in the electronic camera. The electronic camera demodulates the illumination light received by the light-receiving circuit and changes the color temperature adjustment reference used for color adjustment processing in accordance with color temperature information.
Abstract:
A digital imaging system is provided that includes a digital camera and a color printer. The digital camera comprises: a housing; an image sensor adapted to capture analog image data; an analog-to-digital converter adapted to convert the analog image data; an image processor adapted to perform first processing and compression of the digital image data to create a first-processed digital image file; a digital memory in the camera housing having a plurality of the first-processed digital image files stored in the digital memory; and a color printer interface to which a digital image file, which is selected from the digital memory, is applied. The color printer comprises: a color-marking apparatus, and a digital camera interface, wherein the image processor in the digital camera is adapted to perform second processing on the selected digital image file before the selected digital image file is applied.

Abstract:
An imaging apparatus capable of outputting a sensed image to a printing apparatus determines the type of PD printer apparatus connected via an interface, and selects the type of image data to be output to the PD printer apparatus on the basis of the determination result. The imaging apparatus directly transmits a JPEG code for a predetermined PD printer apparatus, or decodes and transmits the JPEG code for another printer apparatus.
Abstract:
A camera according to the present invention can use a captured image of a communication target device to identify the communication target device when transmitting data to the outside. The camera includes a formatting section for converting transmission data to a format suitable for transmission to the communication target device identified.
Abstract:
A facsimile machine that is capable of receiving, transmitting and storing both document images and data transfers, identifying the appropriate device the data transfer is intended for, and providing the data transfer to the appropriate device is disclosed. A facsimile machine is provided with one or more ports for coupling with other office equipment, such as, for example, postage meters, postage scales, personal computers, etc. Data transfers from a service center or the like are received by the facsimile machine and identified as to which device is the intended recipient. The facsimile machine can then send the data transfer to the intended device, or store the data transfer for sending to the intended device at a later time. Accordingly, only a single analog telephone line is required for all of the devices coupled to the facsimile machine.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus has a pack chamber loaded with an instant film pack storing by stacking a plural pieces of instant film sheets having an image recording section which is exposed and subjected to spreading of a developer to record an image and a developer pool provided on a front end side in a carrying direction from the image recording section, and that carries the instant film sheets stored in the instant film pack loaded in the pack chamber and that performs recording of the image on the instant film sheets, the image recording apparatus comprising: carrying rollers; an exposure section; developing rollers; a carrying roller holding section; and a developing roller holding section.
