    摘要： A digital image capture device configured to record a digital image. The capture device includes a body having an imaging component and an orientation sensor, wherein the body is orientable by a user between at least a horizontal orientation and a vertical orientation. The capture device further includes a processor coupled to the orientation sensor to determine the orientation of the body, and activating the imaging component to record the digital image (a) in a landscape aspect ratio when the body is determined to be in the horizontal orientation and (b) in a portrait aspect ratio when the body is determined to be in the vertical orientation. A user interface is coupled to the processor. The user interface includes an event mode that, when selected by the user, instructs the processor to activate the imaging component to record the digital image in a landscape aspect ratio when the body is determined to be in the vertical orientation. A tangible storage medium for storing instructions readable by a processor in an image capture device having a body and a processor coupled to an imaging component, an orientation sensor, and a display, wherein the image capture device is responsive to the user selecting a mode to instruct the imaging component to record a digital image in a landscape aspect ratio when the body is determined to be in a vertical orientation.
