摘要: A data processing apparatus includes: receiving circuitry to receive game state information and associated user data for a plurality of previous interactive sessions of an interactive gaming application, the plurality of previous interactive sessions associated with a plurality of users, wherein for each previous interactive session, the user data is indicative of one or more properties for a given user during the previous interactive session and the game state information is indicative of one or more in-game properties during the previous interactive session; analysis circuitry to: generate user emotion data indicative of one or more user emotion categories in dependence upon the user data for the plurality of previous interactive sessions; detect a correspondence between a set of one or more in-game properties and a given user emotion category for at least a threshold number of interactive sessions; and generate a notification element comprising notification data indicative of the set of one or more in-game properties; and storage circuitry to store the notification element.

摘要: A handgun simulation assembly that mates a virtual reality (VR) controller having a trigger finger button with a handgun grip and trigger in order to better simulate the feel of a typical handgun for a VR environment. The handgun simulation assembly includes a handgun body with a trigger translation subassembly for translating the horizontal motion of the trigger blade pull to a vertical translational action to depress the trigger finger button of the VR controller. A tensioning mechanism is incorporated in the trigger translation subassembly to simulate the feel of trigger resistance that is found in a physical handgun. By mating commercially available VR controllers with realistic handgun grips and triggers, users of the handgun simulation assembly are provided with a more realistic handgun experience when in a VR environment.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a force and complex vibration rendering system using a force feedback device and a wideband resonance actuator, and a method for providing force and complex vibration using the system. The force and complex vibration rendering system includes: a haptic device configured to be operated by a user to input an operation signal and configured to be able to provide reaction force or vibration to the user; a wideband resonance actuator installed at the haptic device and configured to output vibration at an output speed different from an output speed of vibration that is generated at the haptic device; an image provider configured to create and provide a virtual image, which includes at least one target object and an instrument object that is moved in correspondence to an operation signal input to an operation member, to the user; and a touch provider configured to calculate reaction force and vibration, which are generated at the instrument object when the instrument object collides with the target object in the virtual image, and control the haptic device and the wideband resonance actuator such that the calculated reaction force and vibration are applied to the user.
The force and complex vibration rendering system using a force feedback device and a wideband resonance actuator and a method for providing force and complex vibration using the system provide not only reaction force but wide bandwidth vibration to a user when a collision situation occurs in virtual simulation through a wideband resonance actuator that generates vibration at an output speed higher than a vibration output speed of the force feedback device of the haptic device, so the system and method have an advantage that it is possible to provide more real touch feedback to the user.-

The user data can reflect previous usage sessions of the user with the battery-powered user device. The method or technique can also include predicting a future usage session of the user with the battery-powered user device based on the user data. The method or technique can also include estimating confidence that the battery will last through the future usage session based on the battery charge level and the predicted future usage session. The method or technique can also include triggering a charging notification prior to the future usage session based on the estimated confidence.

摘要: The present application provide a noise reduction method for a force feedback device, a gamepad, and a storage medium. The method includes: calculating a first time required for the vibrating rod to complete the first movement before the vibrating rod performs the first movement, and controlling the vibrating rod to stop the first movement to avoid collision with the first structure after the first time has elapsed since the vibrating rod is driven to start the first movement. Through the method, the noise generated while providing the vibration sensation for the player during the gamepad use can be reduced.
