    摘要: At least some implementations of the present invention include the ability to access and secure a compressed riser portion of a pop-up sprinkler. Access is gained through use of the tip of the tool, sloped for access clearance between the sprinkler nozzle “lip” and outer sprinkler base. Once raised from the outer sprinkler casing, the riser is secured in a designated clamping bay or within designated clamping points. This two pronged approach accommodates varying diameter of sprinkler risers and increases the multi-use function of the tool. The tool's overall inward tension is provided by an engineered compression spring designed with adequate outward tension without making hand compression use of the tool restrictive. Use of the tool in an inward sweeping motion toward the sprinkler allows for raising and clamping the riser in a quick and simple fashion. Thereafter, allowing free and open-hand access for quick and thorough maintenance, repair, exchange or adjustment of the sprinkler nozzle and filter.

    摘要: A tool is used for assembling at least a portion of a stay-in-place form-work for casting a structure from concrete, the form-work comprising first and second elongate panels having first and second edge components and connectable in an edge-to-edge relationship wherein the first and second edge components engage one another. The tool comprises: a first arm having a first handle, the first arm terminating at a first tool head; and a second arm having a second handle, the second arm terminating at a second tool head and pivotally attached to the first arm by a pivot joint. The first tool head comprises a first protrusion for engaging the first edge component. The second tool head comprises a second protrusion for engaging the second edge component; the first and second handles are moveable toward one another in a manner which forces the first and second tool heads toward one another thereby forcing the first and second edge components into a locked configuration.

    摘要: A push-to-connect fitting removal tool that includes first and second handles pivotally-connected for being grasped and manually moved towards and away from each other, a first guide bar connected to both the first and second handles, and a second guide bar connected to both the first and second handles and cooperating with the first guide bar for converting pivotal movement of the first and second handles into non-pivoting, translation motion of the first and second guide bars. A push fitting jaw is attached to the first guide bar and a pipe jaw is attached to the second guide bar for being moved towards and away from each other as the first and second handles are moved towards and away from each other. The push fitting jaw is adapted for at least partially encircling the push fitting and the pipe jaw adapted for at least partially encircling the pipe. Grasping the first and second handles and moving them towards each other moves the push fitting jaw and the pipe jaw towards each other, and twisting the push fitting removal tool, pushes the push fitting off of the pipe.
