    摘要: A sensor calibration tool, in particular for calibrating sensors on a vehicle, includes a vertical rail defining a first axis, and first and second carriage assemblies. The first carriage assembly is supported by the vertical rail, movable along the first axis, and has a horizontal rail defining a second axis transverse to the first axis. The second carriage assembly is supported by the horizontal rail, movable along the second, and has a target mount that releasably supports a calibration target. A calibration tool includes a horizontal rail defining a first axis, a first carriage assembly movable along the first axis, a mounting bar defining a second axis and pivotable about a pivot axis transverse to the first and second axes, and a target mount positioned on the mounting bar. The first carriage assembly and the mounting bar move independently.

    摘要: Tire bead holding pliers includes a first jaw having a lipped plate configured to engage an outboard side of a wheel rim to locate the pliers, and a second jaw defined by a first and second hook and configured to curve around the wheel rim, move toward the first jaw, and engage an inboard side of the wheel rim as the pliers are tightened. The first hook has a first concave portion facing away from the first jaw and configured to receive a bead. The second hook extends from the first hook opposite the first concave portion, has a second concave portion facing the first jaw, and clamps the wheel rim therebetween. During tire installation or removal, the bead is hooked onto the second jaw, which holds the bead in place during the operation in a hands-free fashion.

    摘要: A hand-held electric circuit tester includes a probe. The probe includes a hollow body, a control circuit, a probe member, and a speaker. The probe member is operatively mounted in the hollow body, and is configured to contact a probe location of an electric circuit to be measured and electrically connect the probe location with the control circuit to produce a measurement. The control circuit is configured to generate a voice signal with reference to the measurement of the probe and output the voice signal to the speaker, which is configured to generate a voice output with reference to the voice signal indicative of the measurement. The probe can include a first switch for operating the probe member, a microphone for voice activation, or a second switch for selecting between different voices for the voice output, with the different voices stored in computer-readable memory.

    摘要: A technique detects an abnormal signal in a compound sampled signal recorded in the time domain. The technique involves dividing the sampled signal recorded in the time domain into sample segments; transforming each of the sample segments from the time domain into the frequency domain to determine transformed segments, each transformed segment having frequency points, each frequency point having an amplitude associated with a certain frequency; for a frequency point in a given transformed segment, determining a ratio by dividing the amplitude of the frequency point by a value indicative of an average of the amplitudes of the frequency points at the same frequency across transformed segments; repeating the determination of a ratio for frequency points in each transformed segment to determine ratios for each transformed segment; repeating the determination of ratios for transformed segments; and using the ratios to detect the abnormal signal in the compound sampled signal.
