摘要： A dispensing closure is provided for attachment to the discharge port of a standard circular-headed tube. The closure comprises a skirt with a circular cross-sectional shape at its base that merges gradually to an oval-shaped face at its top. When the closure is attached to a standard circular-headed tube, with the long axis of the oval face oriented substantially parallel to the straight crimped edge of the filled tube, the combination of closure and tube appears to the ordinary observer to have a continuously oval cross-sectional shape throughout the length of the combination. The dispensing closure can be manufactured using typical injection-molding techniques, and may be adapted for use with dispensing mechanisms and attachment means known in the personal care products industry.

摘要： A composite container is provided for vacuum packaging of products is disclosed having a generally tubular body portion having opposite ends and an inner surface. A liner is attached to the body portion for receiving the products inside the liner and the body portion of the container. The liner has a memory and is able to move between a position adjacent the body portion to a position about the products placed therein when a vacuum is applied to the products. When the vacuum is removed from the products, the liner automatically returns from the position about the products to the position adjacent the body portion so that the products can be easily removed.

The combination handle-dispenser unit may be integral with the refuse receptacle or attachable to the receptacle as an add-on unit. The add-on version of the invention contains clipping mechanisms that enable the secure attachment of the unit to the refuse container, allowing the use of the handle portion to securely lift the container. The handle-dispenser contains a retainer portion to retain a set of replacement liners. The retainer portion may optionally also have a cap-like cover to prevent soiling of the replacement liners, the cap unit being either separate or attached thereto.
