Abstract:
The invention is a method to inspect multiple conditions of an auto feeding device feeding standard inspection papers into a scanning device while the said auto feeding device in QC process. The method is to use a bar code printed on the standard inspection paper to recognize the conditions that feeding multiple papers in one time, paper jam, paper inclined, etc. The bar code is continuous and unique, and therefore, the results for which standard inspection paper happened problem and how many more papers needing to be inspected are known immediately.
Abstract:
A document feeder apparatus is provided with the first switchback path using a space between a supply tray and a discharge tray arranged to overlap with each other, and the second switchback path between the discharge tray and a pressing cover of a platen. According to a length of an original, a flapper is switched to a position to guide the original to one of the first switchback path and the second switchback path. Through this configuration, it is possible to transport a large size double-sided original. The apparatus can be made small, and productivity of the double-sided original is improved.
Abstract:
An object of the invention is to provide a sheet feeding apparatus of a simple structure which is capable of stacking discharged sheets in a discharged-sheet stacker in an aligned manner without performing any complicated operation even when the sheet size is changed. The common sheet guide is removably attached to the cassette and comes in contact with the sheets stacked in the cassette and the sheets stacked in the stacker. When the sheets in the cassette are replaced with sheets of a different size, as the common sheet guide is moved to come in contact with the edges of the sheets, the common sheet guide is located at the position capable of coming in contact with the edges of the sheets stacked in the stacker. Therefore, it is possible to restrict the movement of the sheets stacked in the stacker and to align the sheets with each other.
Abstract:
This invention concerns a feeding and advancing apparatus in a document processing machine for aligning and registering flat articles against a registration wall. The articles are advanced through a first feeding apparatus that pushes them towards a registration wall, and a second feeding apparatus advances them along a second direction substantially orthogonal in relationship to the first feeding apparatus when a registration sensing system causes the second drive system to engage the articles. If there is not registration of the articles at the registration wall, the first feeding apparatus will re-establish the prior registration condition when the second feeding apparatus is disengaged. Then, the first feeding apparatus will re-establish registration. Once the articles are re-registered, the second feeding apparatus will be engaged to continue advancing the articles along the second direction to the desired downstream location.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a work sheet processing system wherein the material work sheet can be transported in and the product work sheet can be transporting out efficiently, and the cycle time of the processing can be shortened. The work sheet processing system comprises a work sheet processing machine 3, and a loader 5 for transporting the material work sheet W onto the table 7 of the work sheet processing machine 3 and transporting out the product work sheet M from the table. The loader 5 includes a work sheet holding means 18 comprised of a material work sheet holding tool 19 and a product work sheet holding tool 20. The work sheet processing system further comprises a processing machine control means 31 and a loader control means 32. The processing machine control means 31 controls the work sheet processing machine 3 so that the work sheet processing machine 3 opens an area on the table for the material work sheet W to be transported in by the loader 5, and the product work sheet M to be on standby by being placed within the area the product work sheet holding tool 20 is capable of being transported out. The loader control means 32 controls the loader 5 so that the loader 5 holds onto the product work sheet M, and when the material work sheet M is placed on the table 7, transports out the product work sheet M.
Abstract:
A sheet feeder of the invention includes a sheet-feed opening for feeding sheets into a sheet transporting path that is provided inside a body of the sheet feeder; a sheet-discharge opening for discharging the sheets that have passed through the sheet-transporting path; a sheet-holding tray which holds the sheets that have been fed into the sheet-transporting path, which is rotatably provided at the body of the sheet feeder, and which is movable to a position where the sheet-holding tray holds the sheets and to a location where the sheet-holding tray covers the sheet-feed opening; and a discharged-sheet holding tray which holds the sheets that have been discharged, which is rotatably provided at the body of the sheet feeder, and which is movable to a position where the discharged-sheet holding tray holds the sheets that have been discharged from the sheet-discharge opening and to a location where the discharged-sheet holding tray covers the sheet-discharge opening. In the sheet feeder, when either one of the sheet-feed opening and the sheet-discharge opening that is disposed above the other is to be covered, the sheet-holding tray or the discharged-sheet holding tray is subjected to inversion rotation so that a surface of the sheet-holding tray or the discharged-sheet holding tray that is formed opposite to a sheet-loading surface thereof forms a surface of the body of the sheet feeder in order to cover either one of the sheet-feed opening and the sheet-discharge opening. On the other hand, when either of the other of the sheet-feed opening and the sheet-discharge opening is to be covered, the sheet-holding tray or the discharged-sheet holding tray is moved so that the sheet-loading surface of the sheet-holding tray or the discharged-sheet holding tray forms the surface of the body of the sheet feeder in order to cover either of the other of the sheet-feed opening and the sheet-discharge opening.
Abstract:
Bank notes arriving from a control machine are fed along a feed pipe which has a plurality of outfeeds, each connected to an infeed zone of a forming channel along which an accompanying element moves, equipped with a surface on which the bank notes are rested, on top of one another, by a rotary drum located between each outfeed and the respective infeed zone, forming an ordered stack. Close to the infeed zone each forming channel has a shielding wall which is mobile between a non-operating position in which the infeed zone is open, and a position in which the latter is partially closed, limiting the inflows of air which facilitate bank note feed along the pipe and the inflows of air generated by rotation of the drum. A vibrating plate on a side wall of the channel and close to the infeed zone of the channel facilitates correct bank note stacking.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus, which is configured in a simple construction and at low cost, includes a first sheet stacking portion for temporarily stacking a sheet discharged thereon, an alignment member for aligning the sheet discharged on the first sheet stacking portion, a sheet processing member for performing a predetermined process on the sheet stacked on the first sheet stacking portion, and a second sheet stacking portion located substantially vertically below the first sheet stacking portion. The alignment member acts to cause the aligned sheet to drop to the second sheet stacking portion.
