摘要： An item dispensing system includes one or more inventory drawers, at least one of the inventory drawers comprising one or more inventory tracks configured to hold items. At least a given one of the inventory tracks comprises a drive assembly comprising a motor and a sensor assembly affixed above a front of the given inventory track proximate an item drop region of the item dispensing system. The drive assembly is configured to controllably advance the items held in the given inventory track towards the item drop region, and the sensor assembly is configured to detect vending of items from the given inventory track to the item drop region using at least one light emitter and sensor. The item dispensing system also includes an item dispensing system controller configured to control the motor and monitor signals from the sensor to determine whether the given item has dispensed.

摘要： An object of the invention is to provide a banknote storing/feeding unit which is capable of effectively utilizing winding spaces of a drum and a reel, to increase the number of banknotes to be stored. The banknote storing/feeding unit includes the drum which winds and rewinds a banknote together with a tape, and the reel which winds and rewinds the tape on and from the drum. A guide body swinging according to winding and rewinding of the tape and the banknote on and from the drum is provided between the drum and the reel. The guide body has a guide passage that guides the tape and the banknote to be wound and rewound on the drum. The guide body swings centering on a supporting point located within a region parallel to a virtual line connecting a rotational center of the drum and a rotational center of the reel.

摘要： A cash management safe includes a bill validator and stacker and a bagging mechanism for sealing received bills in a tamper evident bag prior to allowing the safe to be opened. Deposited bills are sealed in the bag upon expiration of a predetermined accumulation period, when an unlock code is entered in the safe's door lock, or when the capacity of the bag has been reached. The bag is sealed and die contents reported to a remote cash management server prior to unlocking the safe door, to reduce opportunities for loss during cash handling and transport.
