Abstract:
COMPOSITE DYES WHICH ARE MIXTURES OF 1:2 CHROMIUM COMPLEX DYESTUFFS OF TWO DIFFERENT TYPES IN A WEIGHT RATIO OF THE FIRST TO THE SECOND TYPE IN THE RANGE OF FROM ABOUT 4:1 TO 1:4, WHICH DYESTUFFS ARE EACH COMPOSED OF A NAPHTHALENE-AZO-NAPHTHALENE MONAZO DYESTUFF MOIETY AND OF A NAPHTHALENE-AZO-BENZENE-AZO-NAPHTHALENE OR BENZENE-AZO-BENZENE-AZO-NAPHTHALENE DYESTUFF MOIETY LINKED TOGETHER BY THE COMPLEXING CHROMUIM ATOM, DYESTUFFS OF THE FIRST TYPE HAVING A SOLE SULPHONIC ACID GROUP IN FREE OR PREFERABLY IN SALT FORM IN THE MONAZO MOIETY, WHILE THE SECOND TYPE MUST HAVE TWO AND NOT MORE SUCH SULPHONIC ACID GROUPS IN THE COMPLEX MOLECULE, ONE OF WHICH IS IN THE MONOAZO MOIETY WHILE THE SECOND ONE IS LINKED TO A NAPHTHALENE NUCLEUS OF THE MONOAZO MOIETY OR TO ONE OF THE TWO TERMINAL ARYL GROUPS OF THE DISAZO MOIETY, AND DYE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM TOGETHER WITH DILUENTS AND/OR DISPERSING AGENTS ARE DISCLOSED AS USEFUL FOR THE DYEING AND FOR THE PRINTING OF POLYAMIDE MATERIALS ESPECIALLY FROM ACID MEDIA. A PROCESS FOR COLORING POLYAMIDE MATERIALS WITH THE ACID OF SUCH COMPOSITE DYES AND DYE COMPOSITIONS AS WELL AS POLYAMIDE MATERIALS DYED THEREWITH ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
Abstract:
PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY CONCENTRATED STABLE STOCK SOLUTIONS CONTAINING 1:2 METAL COMPLEX DYES IN A SINGLE STEP REACTION COMPRISING CONTACTING THE CORRESPONDING AZO DYES IN OXYGEN CONTAINING WATER-MISCIBLE SOLVENTS WITH A METALLIZING AGENT. THE DYE SOLUTIONS ARE USEFUL FOR DYEING NATURAL OR SYNTHETIC POLYAMIDES.
R REPRESENT HYDROGEN OR LOWER ALKYL, M AND A REPRESENT INTEGERS FROM 0 TO 2, THE SUM OF M AND N BEING AT LEAST 1 AND AT MOST 2, A REPRESENTS THE RADICAL OF A DIZZO COMPONENT FO THE BENZENE AND NAPHTHALENE SERIES, AND K REPRESENTS THE RADICAL OF A COUPLING COMPONENT OF THE MAPHTHALENE, PYRAZOLONE AND ACEO-ACETYLARYLANIDE SERIES, AND THE 1:1 COPPER COMPLEX COMPOUND OR THE 1:2-COBALT-OR 1:2-CHROMIUM COMPLEX COMPOUNDS THEREOF, SAID DYESTUFFS BEING SUITABLE FOR THE DYEING OR PRINTING OF FIBROUS MATERIALS OF NATIVE OR REGENERATED CELLULOSE, WOOL, SILK, POLYAMIDES OR POLYARETHANES, THE DYEINGS AND PRINTS OBTAINED ON CELLULOSE FIBROUS MATERIALS BEING OF INTENSE REDBROWN, DARK BROWN, OLIVE, GREY (BLACK) OR NAVY BLUE SHADES AND BEING DISTINGUISHED BY A VERY GOOD FASTNESS TO LIGHT AND TO WET PROCESSING.
Abstract:
Fiber-reactive 1:2-chromium complex compounds containing one atom of metal linked in complex union with a monoazo dyestuff molecule and with a disazo dyestuff molecule containing the grouping
IN WHICH N 1 OR 2, AND WHICH FURTHER CONTAIN ONE OR SEVERAL FIBER-REACTIVE GROUPINGS ARE SUITABLE FOR DYEING OR PRINTING WOOL, SILK, SUPERPOLYAMIDE FIBERS, AND POLYHYDROXYLATED FIBROUS STRUCTURES SUCH AS REGENERATED CELLULOSE AND VISCOSE FIBERS, LINEN AND COTTON. The resulting dyeings are even and have good fastness to light, washing, fulling, decatizing, carbonizing and abrasion. The new dyes are valuable to obtain neutral grey and black tints.
Abstract:
Water-soluble basic monoazo dyestuffs of the trialkylammoniumphenylazopyrimidine series which are suitable for dyeing or printing of textile fibrous materials consisting of native or regenerated cellulose, acetate rayon, polyamides, polyesters, polyacrylonitrile or polyvinylidenecyanide to yield yellow dyeings having good fastness to light and wet processing.
IN WHICH Pc represents the copper phthalocyanine residue, X represents an -OH or -NH-alkyl-OH group, Y represents a methyl or carboxyl group, the benezene ring Z may be substituted by at least one halogen atom or alkyl or sulpho group, m represents an integer from 1 to 4, and n represents an integer from 0 to 3, the sum m+n being equal to 4, and the possible substitutents of the ring Z may be the same or different when m is equal to or greater than 2. These dyestuffs are suitable for the dyeing of animal fibers, for example, leather in bright shades ranging from green to blue and the colorations are very uniform and remarkably fast to light, washing and solvents.
Abstract:
Cold water-soluble dyestuff compositions containing 1:2 chromium or cobalt complex azo dyestuff free of reactive groups and containing at least one unsubstituted or substituted-sulfonamide group and 10 to 200 parts by weight based on 100 parts of said dyestuff of a solubilizing agent comprising trisodium phosphate or tripotassium phosphate, are disclosed. Optionally, 5 to 300 parts by weight of an anionic dispersing agent, e.g. naphthalene sulfonic acids, can be included. The compositions are especially suitable for dyeing N-containing materials e.g. silk, wool and polyamides.
