摘要： A door frame structure of a vehicle, of which a door frame is covered with a frame molding. The door frame has a flat peripheral wall extending around a window opening of a vehicle door and a protrusion protruding from an inside end of the flat peripheral wall. The frame molding is composed of a synthetic resin or TPO and is attached to an outside end of the peripheral wall of the door frame. A pair of shelf projections are integrally formed on an inside surface of the frame molding from about a widthwise center thereof so as to be spaced from each other. By press-inserting the flat peripheral wall of the door frame between the shelf projections of the frame molding, the frame molding is secured to the door frame. A glass run having seal lips for sealing a door glass is fitted in a channel having a U-shaped cross-section, which is defined by the protrusion and the flat peripheral wall of the door frame, and an inner half part of the frame molding, which protrudes into the window opening inwardly of the outside end of the flat peripheral wall of the door frame.

摘要： An upward acting sectional door is disclosed having pinch-resistant joints and hinges. The hinges have a top member securable to the upper panel and a base member securable to the lower panel. The base member and top member are connected by first and second links, each of which have a first end pivotally connected to the top member and a second end pivotally connected to the base member. The geometry of the links insures that a foot which depends from the upper panel is always spaced closely enough to the lower panel that a person cannot easily insert a fingertip into the joint. The foot also acts to push a fingertip away from the joint as the door is closed. A door seal on each panel moves to engage the adjacent panel when the door is closed, but lifts away as the door opens.

摘要： A uniquely constructed window insulator (10) that effectively seals the gap (17) between the upper sash (15) and the lower sash (16) of a double-hung window against drafts and other thermal loss. The device has an elongated, tubular shape and a sash lock opening (11), located on its bottom surface and sized to accommodate the sash lock (18) of a double-hung window. A thermally insulating layer (13), constructed of open or closed-cell foam or any suitable insulating material, is surrounded by a decorative cover (12), and itself surrounds an inner core of particulate weighting material (14). When installed, the sash lock (18) on the window projects into the sash lock opening (11) of the device, allowing the device to lie completely flat against the top of the lower sash (16) and the front of the upper sash (15), thereby completely sealing the opening between the two sashes.

摘要： A glass run of an automobile comprises a channel portion including a bottom portion and inner and outer side walls. The glass run further comprises inner and outer seal lips projecting into the channel portion from the inner and outer side walls respectively. The seal lips have back sides facing inside of the channel portion. At least the inner seal lip is thickened in its wall thickness at its middle portion in a manner that the back side of the seal lip projects more inwardly into the channel portion at the middle portion than at a root portion of the seal lip, thereby forming a convex at the middle portion on the back side of the seal lip while relatively forming a concave at the root portion on the back side of the seal lip. The glass run further comprises a sponge elasticity-reinforcing member provided between the root portion on the back side of the inner seal lip and the inner side wall.

摘要： An overhead door for occluding an opening in a structure. The door includes a pair of tracks having inwardly facing surfaces which define a channel. A door panel is located intermediate the pair of tracks and moveable along a predetermined path of travel which is defined by the tracks. A release assembly is borne by the door panel and is operable to releasably engage at least one of the tracks. The release assembly includes a moveable plunger which is received in the channel of one of the tracks and which guides the door panel along the path of travel. The plunger disengages from the channel when force of a predetermined magnitude is applied to the door panel.
